Heard alot of people knock them because they are "cheap wallie world audio"

but a buddy of mine has a xplode system, a 10" sub on a rockford fosgate 500w with a cap thats pretty good sounding.

oh and 6.5 doors and 6x9 rears are sony too

I have a 5.1 surround-in-a-box setup and would like to upgrade the subwoofer from a tiny 5.25" to a more massive 15 inch.

My system outputs 40 watts at 8 ohms on the subwoofer channel.

The speaker i am looking into buying is, as mentioned, a 15" sub with 800 watts max peak, 250 RMS.

Would i be able to run it decently? I am not looking for overkill here, making the neighbors think there is an earthquake happening, but you know ;)
