The US has human rights, and has not split permanently (it came back together after the Civil War), and has not suffered any foreign invasions. The Soviet Union fell apart and introduced human rights. None of the former Soviet states have suffered foreign invasions. I keep doing my best to make this a better World for you and my children. Once again, If New Mexico wanted to be part of Mexico let it be. They should have a vote... A vote, just like Tibet should have to see if they still think being under the Rule of China is better then them ruling themselves. In my state I would rather be part of Canada

Partick French, who worked as campaigner on behalf of the Tibetan lobby for 20 years, grew suspicious of many of the exiles' claim, in particular the widenly repeated allegation that 1.2 million Tibetan died as a direct result of Chinese rule.
After he was given access to the sources while in Dharamsala, he found them full of holes and came away with "unwelcome conclusion that this survey was a statistically useless attempt to satify Western demands for data and tabulation"
