Is Trick Room common on Dusknoir? I have one that I gave Trick Room, and I was wondering if that was a textbook tactic or not.

Trick room is pretty common on Dusknoir, but Bronzong is the main trick room user. More people use Dusknoir to attack than they would use Bronzong.

Wailord was good, but it can't learn that many attacks. I wanted a water type that can learn a variety of different attacks, and Empoleon came to mind.

I believe Wailord would of done well in this battle, only if it didn't cross paths with that Honchkrow, then it would of been no good.

Hmm, that is true I guess. The "slow-family" are also known for that. Not my intention to try to decide for you or anything though. Now you have Torkoal, but if you didn't, Bro or king could have given you a fire move for instance. Octillery as well actually.
