I think the first time heard this song was in 2010.

I haven't been able to get it out of my head ever since.

The lyric always came to my mind when i came to a crossroads in life.

I first saw this performed (maybe debuted) on CMT in 2002 on their July 4 "Red, White, and Bluegrass" special. It's from Skaggs' "History of the Future" album. Beautiful song.
