  • I know exactly where this was shot because I got nearly exactly the same thing! Although we spent an afternoon at the gruesome place where all the deaths usually occur as they were milling about. They were about to cross, but then some dick of a driver pulled up in his car loudly and spooked them, wasted our whole afternoon he did...

  • good video. I wonder what's song it is in this video?

  • but can the babies really make it to the other side of the river without loosing their mothers or even dying themselves?

  • thanks for the video

  • thanks for the video

  • somebody make kinda bridge in there

  • There is a bridge, for people to cross the river with their safari-vans. It appears that some animals use it (like cheeta's), but the wildebeest don't.

  • wow u were so lucky to see this i got back from kenya yesterday. We visited the mara river a week ago (early august) we nearly saw a sight simular to this but the front wilderbeest were not to happy about the cirling hippos and crocs in the river otherwise it would have been a perfect crossing spot. We waited all afternoon but nothing materialised so close but yet so far they actually reached the waters edge. How come this video was posted in january i thought the migraton is june to october?

  • The video was actually shot 12th August last year and as you say we were very lucky.Same as you we were watching and waiting most of the afternoon and if they hadn't started to cross within the next half hour we would have left and missed it.There is another smaller but just as exciting crossing which we witnessed the day before on here as well with one Wildebeest trying to climb a 20ft bank.

  • Wow the wildebeest is such a meraculus animal it has the confidence to cross a river i enjoy studying this speices

  • Glad you enjoyed it.....It was awesome to see one of natures natural wonders........

  • thank you for this video this the kind of video i want to see over her

  • THANK YOU
