@109tnman I have owned both of these and the KWA S Sytem as well. I would say the JG isn't as reliable as the ECHO 1, but I loved my M4 while I had it. The G36c is great for CQB. You have to make the decision for yourself it is completely personal preference.

its funny how echo 1 costs $35.00 more than the JG version, considering they are exactly the SAME! the only difference is that echo 1 has a stronger spring and it shimmed better than JG which makes the echo1 last longer,

You have the two confused. JG has a harder spring, thus giving a higher FPS. Echo 1 rebrands JG's with a weaker spring, usually from an m123 to m110, and that gives them a higher rof.

yeh, when i bought mine, i was asking the same question, because i tried and it wouldnt budge, or so i thought...i didnt want to break it. as it turns out, mine was held on with a bit of glue. so you might need to add some elbow grease :P

I dont know where the myth that echo1 upgrades their parts comes from. My Echo1 g36 has the letters JG on the gears, gearbox shell and a few places hidden on the body.

echo by a long shot. JG is getting better, but echo1 has the best quality affordable guns. However, x36c and mk36k are different. The K means its similair to full size. The c means Subcarbine/Compact, and it's smaller. But definitally echo1, i believe they make C's and K''s

I already know of the laws in Canada about airsoft. I know that if the gun is full color or even just clear and is coming from the U.S. There is a rare chance that your gun is going to come to you. But Eastcoast Airsoft sounded like a place a little different, maybe has a place thats close to the border that the Border Patrol isn't as strict.

I don't know about ordering for Eastcoast Airsoft anymore. The laws in Canada about the gun registry looks like it will be banished/gone soon.
