We have twice that many flights in Europe and the US. If youve ever been to an airport youd notice every 30 seconds a plane is either taking off or landing.
yeah but say the incubation period was a couple hours or maybe a couple days. thats enough time for a flight or travel time where the uninfected would go un noticed. thats what would cause the spread to other countries.
The the probelm with our world nowadays, if a lethal virus breaks out anywhere on the globe and it happens to have a long incubation period, it could spread around the world in an instant and no-one would know till it's too late

Gestapo1940 1 year ago
@Gestapo1940 hiv has long incubation period, up to 10 years. yet careful people are not affected. unless they get raped or something.
iwantcoolname 1 year ago
@iwantcoolname careful people are still exposed to blood-transfusions. There are always risks, no matter how careful you are.
Also, HIV isn't airborn. Something airborn with a long incubation period that spread early could very well be bad news.
