Guys, before u go calling "Civilians," the QRF team had made contact with these guys, they were armed troops, who had fired on Americans. The pilot could also see alot better, the film wasn't so good for us.

I am an officer in the former 1-5 Bn/1-25th division that served in Falluja. Those "personnel" were later confirmed to be one Iraqi goat herder and his goats. Nonetheless, the person calling the strike didn't know it at the time. All civilians were warned to evacuate before the assault on Falluja began. That is why the ROE were so liberal.

they sit in a box and learn to press the right buttons at the right time and then they have computers which do the rest. What fighter pilots do is "mentally demanding" only in the sense that playing Halo 2 is. But that doesn't make them intelligent. True intelligence is being able to handle novel situations and create things. They train to perform one specific task over and over again and they create nothing. What fighter pilots do could be done by monkeys.

Learn something about the military. I know for a fact that in Britain, the selection process for pilots is one of the toughest there is in any force. You think they're going to let a monkey fly multi-million pound/dollar jets? Also, do you realise how big the work load is for pilots? constantly checking the ground and air around them, while also dealing with masses of speech and figures... while dealing with the G forces put on them making maneuvers and keeping the plane in the air.
