  • Explained well, I'm sure the bruise's on my forearms will go away soon from practice. Will be watching more as I progress.

  • very well said. thank you for this detailed explanation. i always make mistake whenever i reach the topand it hurts my forearm. again, thank u.

  • Most helpful video yet!

  • This video needs to be updated and will be shortly. I teach the snatch from the top down now. I find it easier for my clients to pick up. Rarely will I teach the snatch like this, although it still is another tool in my tool box just in case. The goal is too tame the arch and create a smooth looking movement, without the KB banging the wrist.

  • I will be updating the Kettlebell Snatch video shortly.

  • TonyC911 - What is the point of what? can you be more specific?

  • what is the point of this again?

  • @TonyC911 to learn how to make apple pie dumbshit.

  • I like the progression, well explained and well thought out, thanks

  • Thanks PS. I've just started KB training. Your advice is much appreciated...

  • this guy is dumb, has a kettlebell snatch video but adds 2 other exercises before it

  • @sulkoma

Sometimes I can be. This video will be replaced by another video. I have found that teaching the snatch in this manner is not the best way, there are others. So, keep a look out for my next video where I will demonstrate the Kettlebell Snatch from the top down.

  • Bighouse1185-

Whatever you do, DO NOT hyper-extend your wrist or bend your wrist to make it feel better, all you are doing is making your wrist weaker.

What you maybe doing, without seeing your technique is keeping your arm straight the whole time throughout the arc, so at the top you have no where to punch. What size bell are you using? That will help me better understand your problem.

  • when i do the snatch and the rack the kb band against my forearm.....aaww.... it really hurts can someone help me.

  • @bighouse1185 i've had good luck with keeping the bell closer to my body on the way up. too much arc and my forearms take a beating.

lead with the elbow as this vid shows.

  • @bighouse1185 were some wrist bands to absorb the impact.

  • Good point about having a loose grip. I just got mine this morning did 25 with each arm and, just below my wrist is killing

  • very well explained, thanks!

  • Great video and great explanation , thanks :)

  • Great explanation and progression. I was having trouble with these and this absolutely fixed it. I actually just trained my friend on it too!

  • Really helped improve my form. Thanks for the video!

  • I went outside today and took your advice and I banged out ten snatches with each arm with no bang what so ever. Thank you

  • I dont like to comment on to many videos but this one was very informative, Im gonna give this a try and see if my snatch improves. Many thanks
