2:05 is my favorite, because the woven parts form a union with the weave, instead of attachments and decoration. It's interesting, never knew of such a thing. Vegan by accident?
i dont if it has a name. I use 6 strands--use 4 to make a square knot in the center and leave the 2 outer strands free. After 2 knots , I split the strands 3 and 3 and just leave a loop with the outer strand--like doing an alternating square knot--the work back into the 4 strand flat weave. Does that make sense? Its not hard--just takes time to get your loops even.
