Good rap has a story. You should also develop some kind of style, like ludacris is always recognizable because of his rapping style.

Listen to some Eminem (the only rapper I'll actually listen too).

Try listening to Mockingbird by Eminem. It's a good story, a sad one, but a good one.

Rap isn't just talking to a beat and rhyming.

It's a lot more work then that.
