Vedder wasn't back-stabbing. A lot of the people who took part in the Vote for Change tour liked Nader more than Kerry. They were being practical because Nader had absolutely no chance of winning. I've seen Nader speak and I agree with almost everything he said.  I voted for Nader since I'm in a heavily Republican state and my vote doesn't count. But if I was in a close state I would have voted Democrat because that's the only was to keep/get Bush out of the White House.
