The english version of this game is not SE, it is currently owned and operated by SE's partner, gamepot USA, that helped produce it. The battles are more fun than they look. The entire game is centered around PvP, and the PvE is just a simple grind to find items and money, but what it lacks for in graphics, it makes up for in PvP.

The game seems like trash, I haven't played it, but every single video looks like the same boring PvP and everyone doing some jump attack crap. The only cool thing is the apparent mobility of jumping sideways and up high in order to climb hills and what not. Don't know how long ago this game came out in Japan but it seems very outdated.

Square Enix released this game in Japan in 2006. It was a P2P game but turned out to be a failed product and cancelled it. The publishing right is now under Gamespot and became a Free to Play game. It was officially released in North America not too long ago.

Tthis game has an IP block that prevent people outside of the selected region from playing.

Don't be naive, you should always remember that even the greatests companies can 'fail' sometimes. You could either be a fanboy and ignore the fact, or just be sincere and help them by pointing out the flaws. Note I'm not judging, I found this game pretty cool, a bunch of stuff that needs to be worked out though, but using Square Enix (Or any other brand) as your only reference can lead you to some dissapointments.
