  • That is so cool. Its so much better to use a bike for transportation rather than a car, especially in the city. It's great exercise aswell.

  • The front gear is not very big so by the time I hit about 25-30 I feel like I'm on a mouse wheel.

  • how fast does your bike go?

  • Great build and thanks for getting video of the bike in action. I think people like you make grassroots development what its all about. innovation, diversity, accessability....TY! (send mail) :)

  • Oh well...

  • I wonder if it is illegal for a bike to pass cars on the right....

  • My personal opinion is that it is not legal. (IANAL)

    law. justia. com/washington/codes/title46/46. 61. html

    law. justia. com/washington/codes/title46/46. 61. 100. html

"(2) Upon all roadways having two or more lanes for traffic moving in the same direction, all vehicles shall be driven in the right-hand lane then available for traffic, except (a) when overtaking and passing another vehicle proceeding in the same direction, (b) when traveling at a speed greater than the traffic flow"

  • I found this from your CL form post...

Hmmm...it is true-never pass the lead car on the right in an intersection. 9 times out of 10 they will make a right turn and pin you. I always use the gap between the lead car and the one behind it to cut over and pass. The law (here, at least) says you can pass anything going slower than you on the left.
