I got one of these for my touch, and if you have firmware 2.2 you dont need to mod it!

If you have the 2.0 or higher firmwares, you don't need to hack the iVoice to makes calls from 1st gen iPod touch. It works right out of the box.

i modded it and it doesn't work.. i checked the connections to see if i was getting power and i was... then i read somewhere hat i needed to downgrade to 1.1.5 because it doesn't work with the 2.0 version.. can someone help...

It doesnt need to be modded for 2.x, but it does for 1.1.x.

Well, it's modding it, not hacking it..

the mod allows you to use the ivoiceIII mic that is orininally for the regular ipod that is used for recording voice notes and memos to be used with the ipod touch as a mic that can be used with the new Sip-VoIP application that was just released.
