@FantomasMXss Argentina is a poor country in some sectors but is considered now one of the four economies in latin america along with mexico brazil and colombia Greek shiping magnate Onassis emigrated in his days to argentina and worked there making a low salary he didn't chose USA,or Britain a poor third country and his granddaugther married a Brazilian, a latin american Man.
arjentina va ser masacrada si se resiste a la invasión imperialista británica. pobres sudacos tercermundistas, me dan lastima, porque hablan nuestro idioma y los ingleses son unos putos cagantes al igual que los arjentinos. ni a quien irle, los dos paises son escoria: both countries SUCK! but the argayntinians suck more
The Argentine claims to the islands are for internal consumption only. The Falklanders have repeatedly stated they wish to remain with Britain and not Argentina but unfortunately the Argentines couldn't care less what the inhabitants want.
The Falkland Islanders want the islands to remain connected to the UK. If you believe in democracy then you believe the Falklands should be allowed to make it's own choice. Argentina needs to stop it's colonialist attempt to dominate the Falkland Islanders.
To hell with Argentina's claims over the Falkland's! The people of the Falkland Islands have decided that they want to be British under British control and not under some Spanish talking aggressors.
FUCK ALL OF SOUTH and most of CENTRAL AMERICA. You dicks are the illegitimate and unwanted children of Spain and Portugal. Your governments serve drug cartels and you've clearly found an ally in... Iran. Seriously... Iran? Fuck Venezuela, fuck Nicaragua, fuck Colombia, fuck Ecuador and especially... fuck Argentina. The Falklands doesn't want to be governed by you. We fucked you up last time and we'll do it again. We're sick of your bitching. The US is sick of your bitching. Everyone is. STFU!
@22ndWave Doesn't look like the US is sick of our bitching... The entire Organization of American States incluiding the US are telling the UK to comply with several UN resolutions that urge talks without delay between Argentina and the UK over the islands' sovereignty.
@22ndWave Sure everyone is sick of our bitching? 200 countries are currently on Argentina's side, that includes the US and CHINA, the former Movement of Non-Alligned countries, Commonwealth nations in the Caribbean, etc. All saying the same thing: COMPLY WITH THE UN AND ENTER TALKS IMMEDIATELY.
@111jasy111 China has no credit on this side of the world either, cockbag. And the caribbean? Seriously? A ragtag group of independant nations that have prostituted themselves to the Japanese whaling industry? Get fucked on all counts. Like I said. If they're yours. Take them the old fashioned way. You'll get served.... again. Even Chile laughs at you.
@22ndWave Chile laughs? Maybe... In the real world, Chile YESTERDAY ratified that the flag of the Faklands is ILLEGAL and any vessel holding it will not be allowed to dock on their ports. How's that, champion?
@111jasy111 Oh, Chile supports you. Don't get me wrong. They just know that a pathetic second attempt to actually take the Falklands is suicide. You can't deny that our military bitchifies your military.
@111jasy111 As much as they want to, Scotland CANT secede from the union, moron. Their share of the debt would be too much for them alone, they would have to take back the useless funds from the Bank Of Scotland and their postion in the EU (which they'd need to do to survive) would depend on them joining the Euro. Nobody wants to do that. Do some research. I know a book is hard to come by in that third world country of yours, but do some digging.
@22ndWave your harsh level of insulting made me take a look at your nice channel... obscure and insipid faggot bands from the 80s... i like that... they all look too homosexual though... do you like to take it in the ass?
@111jasy111 I don't think you have much to go on there. I believe ITALO DISCO was very popular in your home country. Take a look at some of those bands. The fact that it comes down to is that the people there don't like you, you tried to take it before and we kicked you out. If you try again, we'll kick you out again. That's the end of the story. There's not much point in arguing over it because the situation isn't going to change.
@22ndWave There's not much point in arguing, sure... then why you came here talking shit about South America, frothing at the mouth with your racist rants? Fuck you, faggot. The situation is not going to change? Take a look at what happened in the last months. There are almost 200 nations on our side, that is, they are telling your country to comply with 10 UN General Assembly resolutions and 29 UN Decolonization Committee resolutions. Think you can play deaf forever? THINK AGAIN
@111jasy111 Are you a retard? The De-colonization Committee is a joke. Our land is also the land of the European Union which can say what they like for effect, but they will never intervene in military action to protect our lands. Any other South American countries are worth nil. They're third world with little power at all. And despite the US' stand on the Falklands, guess who supplied our troops heavily during the war. Are you on the UN security council? No. didn't think so
@111jasy111 These resolutions cannot be enforced and they won't be. Why don't you stop focusing on islands you don't own, playing into the hands of your corrupt government and get rid of your leaders.
@111 Yeah I wouldn't trust the yanks if I were you mate lol. They will say one thing to your face and then provide us with whatever we want behind the scenes (as they did in 1982). The UK and USA have very strong links in the defence and intelligence fields a well as the capitalist economical field. They even share nuclear technology. They are never going to side with Argentina over a NATO ally who has been fighting with them non stop for over a decade now. Obama won't even be in power come 2013
The fact that some Argies even think for a second that the US will align itself with Argerntina over it's traditional ally just shows you the level of brainwashing that goes on in Argentina. I don't mean to offend any Argies but it's quite comical. Clinton was playing the political game by being 'sympethetic' to Argentina's claim over the Falklands. This is a far cry from the US demanding the UK hands over soverignty. US is not going to give that resource rich region to BRICS. They're not stupid
Look, Argentina is a member of BRICS. BRICS consists of countries such as China, Russia etc who are predominantly anti US and anti West. Why would the US demand that the UK hands over that region (which is the gateway to the antarctic) to a BRICS nation so that Russia/China can then come along and take over? People really need to educate themselves on the geo political aspect to all of this rather than getting their info from nationalist newspapers/crackpot leaders.
Everytime the Argentinian government is facing domestic issues they just rant on about the Falklands and the sheep instantly forget about the economic/social problems Argentina is facing and unite. This was how the first war began. It's really comical looking at this from the outside. Regardless of Argentina's claim over those islands...Argentina (like all of us) really needs to focus on the important issues it's facing. Such as the economy.
@TheARMAProductions Don't be so sure with Obama Bin Laden at the helm. I pray the US votes him out in a landslide this year. He's trying to fulfill a grudge because his family is Kenyan
Yeah most Brits are smart enough to distinguish between politicians and the individual and the small stress in relations that's been initiated by Obama is soley blamed on Obama m8. He did in fact return Churchill memorabilia which was a gift to the US. I'm not sure if u know the real strategic importance of the Falklands but the USAF is in thact the largest air power down in that region. Obama would be overthrown by the ruling elite if he tried to give that region to BRICS thru his own stupidity
@TheARMAProductions And with his mishandling of the economy, it seems he will go this year. Good riddance. The next president is likely to be Republican Romney and he's spoken out against Obama's foreign policy of appeasing the US enemies while snubbing their allies. I hope all of the US soon realizes that South America is not a friend. Never has been. Never will be. The same goes for Central America. All backstabbing leftists and communist relics.
@22ndWave Well this is going to sand selfish but his incompetence regarding the economy is like a light at the end of the tunnel for pro American Brits :)
Yeah I cannot believe that Obama would consider SA an ally over America's traditional European cousins. Where does one even begin with that? lol Many SA nations are BRICS members and their goal is to hold the West to ransom over energy. This is why they don't like these wars such as iraq, Libya, Falklands etc.
@22ndWave PS: Even looking at say America and France. Two nations who have had their differences over the last decade or so. France will always be more of an ally to the US than what SA ever will be. Alot has to do with political/economical ideology. Most SA countries are socialists, more inclined to Russia's/China's way of thinking. USA & UK are Capitalist with Europe being capitalist but with some social tendancies
@TheARMAProductions Social tendencies that aren't working. lol. You're right. I just wish Obama wasn't such a tool, trying to prostitute himself to countries who hate his guts.
The social system is one based on ideals & not reality. In the real world, not all people are equal. U get hard workers and u get slackers. You get profitable companies and you get uncompetitive companies. The socialist way is to subsidize everything and state control it rather than using the free market. Capitalism promotes creativity/productivity by fierce competitiion. Harsh but it works. If you suck you get sackes. if your company sucks you go bust. This is essentially why the USSR collapsed
@22ndWave This is basically why I could see Obama was a bad thing for the US long before he started to act strange towards the UK. From the American perspective, Obama is a socialist who will bankrupt an already indebted country (we are all like this so it's not just the US). People like him will give your money away to layabouts/immigrants and will care little for middle America
@22ndWave Basically, the British Conserveative party (Tories) and the US Republicans are for the rich although their way is better than the socialist ways of Labour/Democrats and this feeds down to the average Joe in the street. By nature...Conservatives 'conserve'. Socialists will spend spend spend not caring about debt as it's not their generation who will have to pick up the bill
@TheARMAProductions Very true. Neither the right nor left is totally correct, but the Republican/Conservative aim is sustainable for a longer period of time. A perfect government is tough on crime, considers logic and morality in social issues and spends only when necessary, always looking to cut unneeded organizations and such. It should be geared towards helping the helpless, NOT the clueless. That is why the UK has gone downhill. Benefits handed to useless individuals.
@TheARMAProductions The US will end up the same way under a regime that is too socialist when it comes to economic aid. It's a similar thing with healthcare. An ideal government would pay for your healthcare, but the US cannot afford it right now. Its a stupid idea with trillions of dollars of debt hanging over the country. And when healthcare is nationalized, it should help those who have no control over their ailment. Alcoholics who get liver failure, should pay themselves.
@TheARMAProductions I swear half of all tax payer money into the NHS is used to help moronic teens who end up in the hospital after a Saturday night binge. Why can no politician find a middle ground between freedom, responsibility, strength, prosperity and common sense law and order? *sigh*
@TheARMAProductions ARMA, Argentina is not a member of BRICS in any way. There is only one SA country there and it's Brazil. Also, China pushed to include Commonwealth country South Africa one year ago, because both countries share a mutual interest in the natural resources all over Africa. Would you call South Africa "commie"?
@111jasy111 Really? I honestly thought she was mate. Well, at least a partner anyway. I would class South Africa as 'socialsts'. It's a mild form of communism. These Commie countries now understand that the communist way of running an economy (i.e. subsodizing everything) fails so they have adopted a more free market approach to the economy but they still have socialist trends.
@111jasy111 Yeah...it's just a milder form of communism. Not the same as such but they share common ideologies regarding social and economic principles. The other way (i.e. capitalism) suits the rich erally but over all, after what I've seen I prefer the capitalist/free market way of working
Example: Both ideologies take the approach of subbing everything & having large public sectors. If a company is failing, their idea is to sub it & run it under government control. The capitalist/free market way of working is to let bad companies go bust. The only exception isthe huge banks. Same with workers. Socialism thinks everyone is equal but in reality, u get slackers & u get grafters. If u suck u get sacked. With socialism, everyone is guranteed a job so they get lazy hence they collapse
This is why Capitalism, whilst having it's bad parts is the better ideology. It promotes creativity/productivity via fierce competitiion. This is essentially why it's the West along with Japan who develops everything. China is starting to develop but only because she's turned her back on the commie way of operating an economy. The problem with capitalism is that it's a very materialistic way of living and this is why the West has some of the highest rates of depression.
"The issue which has swept down the centuries and which will have to be fought sooner or later is the people versus the banks"
Neither I support communism nor the rampant ways of capitalism. Huge banks and multinational corporations have too much power on their hands, and some control is needed.
They can bring down a goverment in a matter of seconds and profit from it instantly.
@111jasy111 The BRICS is stupid, is a concept of large economies in volume but very low in social development, cultural and human development, the BRICS economies can be large and move much raw material, but will remain underdeveloped countries.
@111jasy111 The SNP is just a moneymaking scheme, taking advantage of school playground disputes between the Scots and everyone else. When it comes down to being independent. Scotland can't stand on its own. Hell, YOUR country is barely standing.
@22ndWave An island being governed by an English person 8000+ miles away from London is nothing more than a remenant of your country's colonial expansionist agenda all over the world and fortunately the UN and its Decolonization Committee in NYC are well aware of it. Also, Iran is not Argentina's ally. Nice try, faggot.
@111jasy111 Nobody gives a shit about your country, you do realize that? The US is only appeasing you to bide time before it can solve its 'South America problem'. You will never have the Falklands. They want to be ruled by us and they will be.
@111jasy111 And yes, Iran will be your ally, because your nation is a shithole just like Iran. You're jealous of North America's wealth and you're nations are all corrupt. Venezuela says jump and you say, how high.
The reason they keep trying to "negotiate" the Falklands is because they lack the legal or military might to take them. How must it feel to Argentina to know that the very people living on the islands they claim to own want nothing to do with them? and that they want to remain British subjects, that must be like putting salt into the wound.
I'd let them try to invade again, while having a British nuclear sub just off the Argentine coast, see how quickly their ships run back to port.
@jack1701e All of South America, thinks its going too join together and gang up on Britain. You do have our phone no. because the US has a score to settle with one " South American " nation in particular, ----couch --couch Venezuela !!!!
kirchner has it right. many of those who opposed the military dictatorship were supporters of an argentinian reconquest of the occupied malvinas. the mistake of the argentinian military was it's action against the OWN population then but not the action against the brits.
GB has to accept that it's an EX worldpower and all of it's remaining foreign possessions, from chagos islands to northern ireland will pass subsequently into legal ownership.
Wars are won by the brave and the few. Argentina could never win a war, just like so many other similar countries, because they are ruled by heartless, corrupt cowards who aren't worth fighting for. So their soldiers arent in the fight. They surrender and run away at the first chance just like Iraquis and Iranians. The British never run from a fight. A British soldier is worth at least 10 argentinians, all A has ever given the world is corrupt politicians and a cheating footballer. Enuff said.
Oh go and fuck yourself you argintine cunts! Hmmmm want to be respected then let it go, there our islands and want to be. Im sure if they didnt we would let them go. Fuck sake hate little gay reports like this, stupid third world faggots. awwwwww some argintines died!!!! awwwww didumms..........................
Argentina used to be a wealthy country and should be now. Their politicians need to focus on rebuilding the economy, improving Argentinian living standards and stop wheeling out the Falklands thing everytime they want to distract attention away from their domestic failings.
I think its time Britain realize its time to hand the Falklands back to Argentina, who are their rightful owners. The peoples on the Islands are only Colonisers, they can choose to remain and be Argentine Citizens or move to Britain.
Argentina's geographical claim on the Falklands rests on an 1881 treaty's arbitrary straight-line division of Tierra del Fuego between it and Chile, with the eastern part of the island closest to the Falklands separate from mainland Argentina. Considering that Cape Horn is in Chile and the way the whole curve of the southern tip of South America continues sub-sea from Chile into the South Atlantic towards the Falklands, one could make a better case for Chile's "ownership" than for Argentina's.
Most of these problems stem from colonial times. But what is Britain supposed to do now? The world is what it is. The PEOPLE in the overseas territories have a right to be heard, and when they ask to remain under British sovereignty, and to be protected, Britain is obligated to defend that right and protect them when they ask.
The Falklands belong to the generations of people who call it and have called it home. They call themselves British. Their fellow Brits in the UK will be there for them.=)
I just think people don't get that there are people in these places. Like somebody below me opposing "British occupation" of Northern Ireland and Gibraltar. These places are occupied by people who love their countries and who wish to remain British.
When Spain renewed its claim for Gibraltar in the 50s the PEOPLE VOTED to remain under British sovereignty.
People seem to the think the Britain is this brutish entity, when really it's just protecting its people, wherever they are whenever they ask.
fuck the falklands when the goverment gonna fight for the country an not for some shitty island n te middle of the sea, what a weast of time and money...
The argentine constitution was only amended recently in 1994 to include a clause claiming sovereignty over the British Falkland Islands. It can be amended again.
What you must already know is that the argentine constitution is irrelevant to the British Falkland Islands, and including a such an impossible claim will only lead to more heartache and destruction for argentina.
@osallent Its all the oposite, this gvmnt just won the elections with the 54% of the votes and one of the reasons is its position over the diplomatic claim of the islands, wich people supports.
britain owned the falklands long before argentina existed.the problem has somewhat gained momentum due to the finding of oil and gasses.and whats it got to do with brazil and paraguy.oil oil oil what would the argies say if the spanish wanted that land they call argentina back...its all politics in the name of oil. i smell jelousy
@mwillis1000 The way West Europe is killing itself, it seems like you guys are making it that much easier for them when the oppurtunity comes. And the way the Southern Hemisphere (or Global South whichever you prefer) is slowly rising, I wouldn't laugh so hard.
@mwillis1000 This is really an issue between Argentina & the U.K. But with the problem West Europe is doing to itself right now, Argentina can easily catch up in 5 years if the same path is followed. I've been looking at a few nations for a few a years now & they are catching up at a very fast rate (Argentina being one of them). Whether this be an economic blessing that lasts for a few years, but to me its seems to be more than just coincidence for these nations catching up all at the same time.
@mwillis1000 I don't consider 2 months 5 minutes lol. The British were always known for having a tough ego, but don't get full of yourselves; anything can happen un-expectedly. And the way the trend of decline is occuring in Europe, its hard to tell if you can keep up that attitude. But I always keep an eye on whos progressing & regressing, but as always I gotta wait until November for new data to come in.
The Falklands will never be Argentinian by diplomatic or military means. The one big argument from Britain is that the falklanders WANT to be British. The only way around that is for the Argentinians to seduce the falklanders to accept a compromise and have a shared or partial ownership of the island.
Forbidding flights to and from the island and making trade difficult they are working against this, just making the islanders hate them more and making Argentina lose out. THINK
Greetings and support to the Argentines from Ireland. They occupy part of our country too. The british are making ALOT of enemies, worldwide.
Argentina turn to your neighbours Brazil, Chile, Paraguay, Urugauy, etc for help, if you have their political support, you will get back what belongs to you through political means.
It's obvious you are a fan of Ireland. You love Ireland so much, you want it's history to be reenacted with Argentina playing Britain, and the Falklands playing Ireland.
@AnimalWelfare1000 Aregentinians are bitches, my friend. I´m from Uruguay, next to Argentina, and we have suffered a lot because of their arrogance and greed. They occupied an island that belonged to us, they blockaded bridges to my country, damaging tourism, which made us lose millions of dollars, because of a pulp mill that we were building in the uruguay river.
I don´t support the british, but the argies are no better. Just weaker. Long live Ireland!!!
@1999521 I understand you may dislike the Argentines for various reasons, every country in the world has had disputes with its Neighbours. But dont you not feel that the falklands belong more to Argentina than Britain?
I am very fond of the South American countries and i hope to visit your great country of Urugauy, i was backing Urugauy in the 2010 world cup :) you did very well. Long live Urugauy!
@AnimalWelfare1000 I think the islands never belonged to argentina, man. They were indeed a possesion of Spain for a while, but not argentina. Everything in the islands is of british origin.
As I said, I´m not particularly pro-british. I oppose british occupation of Gibraltar and north Ireland, for instance. But I think this time they are right. Just my opinion.Maybe if the argies were better neighbours...
You´re welcome in my country, and I hope I can go to Ireland some day!
@Dansito123 they only agree cause theres oil, weird the way uruguay only decided to ban ships when oil was discovered...argentina just offering everything in order to get backing either way the countrys wont drag themseleves into a war it obviously the way its heading...just hopeengland bombs the shit outter buenos airies
@teckman3 America has britains back concerning their UNDISPUTABLE CLAIM. We are willing to back this up in every way available to us. The Falkland island are BRITISH.
Why does Argentina think it has any rights over anything, isnt this the country who habours Nazis and defaults on its debts, its crying over oil??? i think it owes the procedes of any oil it takes up to bond holders/lenders.
@jack1701e Jack, the stupid-ass Arggies, are asking for another, " nose bleed " from your Royal Marines. They think, Obama, won't fight, i think that's a bad mistake !!!
now I understand where the Gringos come From, Britishit, they are living STOLEN , we should beat the shit out of these Queers, Son las Islas Malvinas VIVA ARGENTINA CABRONES
@DarkyAngeLAra It's not stolen at all, we claimed those lands before Argentina even existed, the people there want to be British, and if Argentine tried to invade again, we'd take it back all over again!
Oh, and it's interesting to hear ol' Hillary saying Britain should negotiate with Argentina. These Islanders have been British long before the 'the wild west was won' in other words the Indians were ethnically cleansed from their own land (genocide). Her hypocrisy is breathtaking....
@halcyon23 You can say that again. The current US Administration has gone turncoat on it's allies. The reward for Britain's continual friendship with the US? An ipod with Obama's speeches preloaded on it. What a slap in the face.
I think all that Botox has started to fry Kirchner's little brain..... The Falklands have been British since before the founding of Argentina.... end of argument. Is America going to give up Hawaii? Or any other past colonial nation it's territories? Maybe all those Italian, Spanish and German immigrants should return to Europe and give Argentina back to its indigenous people too? The argument is bullshit and Argentina should concentrate on sorting it's own house first, it's in enough of a mess.
@halcyon23 Well said sir. It is ridiculous. We hear a similar argument for the return of Texas and the southwestern states to Mexico. The Mexicans claim that they were illegally stolen by the US. By that logic Mexico would then have to return them to Spain, Spain would have to return them to France, France would have to return them to the commanches, The Commanchees would have to return them to the Apaches, the Apaches would have to return them to the Pueblos and so forth.
"A Non-Self-Governing Territory can be said to have reached a full measure of self-government by:
(a) Emergence as a sovereign independent State;
(b) Free association with an independent State; or
(c) Integration with an independent State."
The British Falklands have chosen Option (b) ie a self governing Overseas Territory of the UK, responsible for all areas of their government except foreign affairs and defence, via a locally elected Legislative Assembly.
@EddieExile Is that why the Governor is always sent from England and according to the islanders' constitution he can "make, confirm and terminate appointments to any public office; exercise disciplinary control over public officers; make and terminate appointments to any other office in a civil capacity" "The executive authority shall be exercised on behalf of Her Majesty by the Governor, either directly or through officers subordinate to him." Gotta love that word "subordinate"..
You posted this before knobhead and were destroyed then.
"The Governor can "make, confirm and terminate appointments to any public office.... and terminate appointments toany other office in a civil capacity."
WRONG - not in current constitution
"SUBJECT TO THIS CONSTITUTION - The executive authority shall be exercised on behalf of Her Majesty "... WRONG - You missed out key words “subject to this constitution”
"President Kirchner put aside the domestic troubles to step up her country's claims to the Falkland Islands on the 26th anniversary of the war with Britain" Hilarious, this was pretty much the exact reason for the original invasion which lead to an Argetinan defeat and the collapse of their government, what a petty nation for thinking the problems disppear if you get more lands.
Still my response is as one film character says. "Come and 'av a go if you think you're 'ard enough"
u will ot get the islands back without a fight and if argentina decides to fight the british u will lose again so just stop this foolishness and just admit that u will never gain the falklands back. the malvinas will NEVER exist
I just said it isn't important how the original British settlement was done. Today's Kelpers are all born there and have been living there for a long time, so their right of self-determination is inquestionable. Let's remember that the first de jure claim was made by Britain in 1690, when Captain John Strong named the islands after the First Lord of the Admiralty, although the first de facto control was established by France, handing over the French settlements to Spain in 1766.
@hajdkvjecn Strong was a merchant that sailed through the sound between the two main islands, naming it Falklands. He named the islands Hawkins. His dubious claim was not reported to the Spanish Crown or any power. Spain had set foot on the islands 150 years before John Strong.
The UN is telling the islanders that is time to govern themselves and stop being subordinates of Britain.
Sadly any islander that dissented with British policies received death threats, murder attempts and had to leave.
We have Y Wladfa in Trevelin, Patagonia. The Welsh community which is as old as the islanders' and we respect them and their culture and traditions, like every foreign community. They do not speak English. They speak Welsh and most of them Spanish too. Argentina did a lot to them during the 20th century. No wonder they never thought they could be governed by Britain, even though Britain invaded Buenos Aires in the 19th century and laughably tried to proclaim sovereignty rights for some weeks.
Britain controlled the island from 1765 to 1770 and again from 1771 to 1776, so Argentina by far wasn't the first to establish de jure and de facto claims
There is too much hate in this world. I'm British and feel no hatred whatsoever to Argentina and it's people. It's time to move on and stop dwelling in the past. Watch this video. This one man blows the divide between Argentina and Britain with one song. Brilliant. /watch?v=jBbyc3t-Ctc
BELONG TO ARGENTINA!!! WTF, They are BRITISH!!!!!!!!!!!!!. Fucking Idiots, and you attacked the Falklands, and so Attacked Britain and you got humped. YOU REALY NEED TO GET OVER IT. We have a better prepared army, Navy and Airforce. SO STOP YER CRAP!!!!!
@mrscottish1993 NO DEY BELONGZ TO ARGENTIA! Yes I agree, conquest is a fact of life. Argentina and the so called "fantasy alliance" still wouldnt stand a chance against the UK even with these cuts.
Oh for pity's sake, why is this woman even trying? The Falkland Islanders were happy enough to be rescued by British troops in the last conflict so it kind of figures they wish to remain a part of Britain.Enough said.
South Americana alliance ? Argentina brazil venezuela bla bla bla ? You know that UK is stronger than all s.american countries together right ? And that if UK goes to war , the entire European Union is with them ? No nation on the earth stand a chnace against EU ( France , UK , Italy , Germany , Spain + 22 countries)
A lot of British ppl say we should nuke Argentina & if they want another war, we should take over & occupy Argentina as well and control the area. They are out of order.

Obama won't even be in power come 2013
TheARMAProductions 2 weeks ago
The fact that some Argies even think for a second that the US will align itself with Argerntina over it's traditional ally just shows you the level of brainwashing that goes on in Argentina. I don't mean to offend any Argies but it's quite comical. Clinton was playing the political game by being 'sympethetic' to Argentina's claim over the Falklands. This is a far cry from the US demanding the UK hands over soverignty. US is not going to give that resource rich region to BRICS. They're not stupid
TheARMAProductions 2 weeks ago
Look, Argentina is a member of BRICS. BRICS consists of countries such as China, Russia etc who are predominantly anti US and anti West. Why would the US demand that the UK hands over that region (which is the gateway to the antarctic) to a BRICS nation so that Russia/China can then come along and take over? People really need to educate themselves on the geo political aspect to all of this rather than getting their info from nationalist newspapers/crackpot leaders.
TheARMAProductions 2 weeks ago

22ndWave 2 weeks ago
Yeah most Brits are smart enough to distinguish between politicians and the individual and the small stress in relations that's been initiated by Obama is soley blamed on Obama m8. He did in fact return Churchill memorabilia which was a gift to the US. I'm not sure if u know the real strategic importance of the Falklands but the USAF is in thact the largest air power down in that region. Obama would be overthrown by the ruling elite if he tried to give that region to BRICS thru his own stupidity
TheARMAProductions 2 weeks ago
@TheARMAProductions And with his mishandling of the economy, it seems he will go this year. Good riddance. The next president is likely to be Republican Romney and he's spoken out against Obama's foreign policy of appeasing the US enemies while snubbing their allies. I hope all of the US soon realizes that South America is not a friend. Never has been. Never will be. The same goes for Central America. All backstabbing leftists and communist relics.
22ndWave 2 weeks ago
@22ndWave Well this is going to sand selfish but his incompetence regarding the economy is like a light at the end of the tunnel for pro American Brits :)
Yeah I cannot believe that Obama would consider SA an ally over America's traditional European cousins. Where does one even begin with that? lol Many SA nations are BRICS members and their goal is to hold the West to ransom over energy. This is why they don't like these wars such as iraq, Libya, Falklands etc.
They are commies
TheARMAProductions 2 weeks ago
@22ndWave PS: Even looking at say America and France. Two nations who have had their differences over the last decade or so. France will always be more of an ally to the US than what SA ever will be. Alot has to do with political/economical ideology. Most SA countries are socialists, more inclined to Russia's/China's way of thinking. USA & UK are Capitalist with Europe being capitalist but with some social tendancies
TheARMAProductions 2 weeks ago
@TheARMAProductions Social tendencies that aren't working. lol. You're right. I just wish Obama wasn't such a tool, trying to prostitute himself to countries who hate his guts.
22ndWave 2 weeks ago
The social system is one based on ideals & not reality. In the real world, not all people are equal. U get hard workers and u get slackers. You get profitable companies and you get uncompetitive companies. The socialist way is to subsidize everything and state control it rather than using the free market. Capitalism promotes creativity/productivity by fierce competitiion. Harsh but it works. If you suck you get sackes. if your company sucks you go bust. This is essentially why the USSR collapsed
TheARMAProductions 2 weeks ago
@22ndWave This is basically why I could see Obama was a bad thing for the US long before he started to act strange towards the UK. From the American perspective, Obama is a socialist who will bankrupt an already indebted country (we are all like this so it's not just the US). People like him will give your money away to layabouts/immigrants and will care little for middle America
TheARMAProductions 2 weeks ago
@22ndWave Basically, the British Conserveative party (Tories) and the US Republicans are for the rich although their way is better than the socialist ways of Labour/Democrats and this feeds down to the average Joe in the street. By nature...Conservatives 'conserve'. Socialists will spend spend spend not caring about debt as it's not their generation who will have to pick up the bill
TheARMAProductions 2 weeks ago
@TheARMAProductions Very true. Neither the right nor left is totally correct, but the Republican/Conservative aim is sustainable for a longer period of time. A perfect government is tough on crime, considers logic and morality in social issues and spends only when necessary, always looking to cut unneeded organizations and such. It should be geared towards helping the helpless, NOT the clueless. That is why the UK has gone downhill. Benefits handed to useless individuals.
22ndWave 1 week ago
@TheARMAProductions The US will end up the same way under a regime that is too socialist when it comes to economic aid. It's a similar thing with healthcare. An ideal government would pay for your healthcare, but the US cannot afford it right now. Its a stupid idea with trillions of dollars of debt hanging over the country. And when healthcare is nationalized, it should help those who have no control over their ailment. Alcoholics who get liver failure, should pay themselves.
22ndWave 1 week ago
@TheARMAProductions I swear half of all tax payer money into the NHS is used to help moronic teens who end up in the hospital after a Saturday night binge. Why can no politician find a middle ground between freedom, responsibility, strength, prosperity and common sense law and order? *sigh*
22ndWave 1 week ago
@TheARMAProductions ARMA, Argentina is not a member of BRICS in any way. There is only one SA country there and it's Brazil. Also, China pushed to include Commonwealth country South Africa one year ago, because both countries share a mutual interest in the natural resources all over Africa. Would you call South Africa "commie"?
111jasy111 5 days ago
@111jasy111 Really? I honestly thought she was mate. Well, at least a partner anyway. I would class South Africa as 'socialsts'. It's a mild form of communism. These Commie countries now understand that the communist way of running an economy (i.e. subsodizing everything) fails so they have adopted a more free market approach to the economy but they still have socialist trends.
TheARMAProductions 5 days ago
@TheARMAProductions Do you think social democracy and communism are just the same? What about Sweden?
111jasy111 5 days ago
@111jasy111 Yeah...it's just a milder form of communism. Not the same as such but they share common ideologies regarding social and economic principles. The other way (i.e. capitalism) suits the rich erally but over all, after what I've seen I prefer the capitalist/free market way of working
TheARMAProductions 5 days ago
Example: Both ideologies take the approach of subbing everything & having large public sectors. If a company is failing, their idea is to sub it & run it under government control. The capitalist/free market way of working is to let bad companies go bust. The only exception isthe huge banks. Same with workers. Socialism thinks everyone is equal but in reality, u get slackers & u get grafters. If u suck u get sacked. With socialism, everyone is guranteed a job so they get lazy hence they collapse
TheARMAProductions 5 days ago
This is why Capitalism, whilst having it's bad parts is the better ideology. It promotes creativity/productivity via fierce competitiion. This is essentially why it's the West along with Japan who develops everything. China is starting to develop but only because she's turned her back on the commie way of operating an economy. The problem with capitalism is that it's a very materialistic way of living and this is why the West has some of the highest rates of depression.
TheARMAProductions 5 days ago
@TheARMAProductions ' The only exception is the huge banks.'
That's right. Please let me quote Lord Acton:
"The issue which has swept down the centuries and which will have to be fought sooner or later is the people versus the banks"
Neither I support communism nor the rampant ways of capitalism. Huge banks and multinational corporations have too much power on their hands, and some control is needed.
They can bring down a goverment in a matter of seconds and profit from it instantly.
111jasy111 5 days ago

The reason they keep trying to "negotiate" the Falklands is because they lack the legal or military might to take them. How must it feel to Argentina to know that the very people living on the islands they claim to own want nothing to do with them? and that they want to remain British subjects, that must be like putting salt into the wound.
I'd let them try to invade again, while having a British nuclear sub just off the Argentine coast, see how quickly their ships run back to port.

I think its time Britain realize its time to hand the Falklands back to Argentina, who are their rightful owners. The peoples on the Islands are only Colonisers, they can choose to remain and be Argentine Citizens or move to Britain.
argento22222 3 weeks ago
Argentina's geographical claim on the Falklands rests on an 1881 treaty's arbitrary straight-line division of Tierra del Fuego between it and Chile, with the eastern part of the island closest to the Falklands separate from mainland Argentina. Considering that Cape Horn is in Chile and the way the whole curve of the southern tip of South America continues sub-sea from Chile into the South Atlantic towards the Falklands, one could make a better case for Chile's "ownership" than for Argentina's.
mrmemanme 3 weeks ago

THINK

Her hypocrisy is breathtaking....
halcyon23 1 month ago
@halcyon23 You can say that again. The current US Administration has gone turncoat on it's allies. The reward for Britain's continual friendship with the US? An ipod with Obama's speeches preloaded on it. What a slap in the face.
coverchenko 1 month ago
I think all that Botox has started to fry Kirchner's little brain..... The Falklands have been British since before the founding of Argentina.... end of argument. Is America going to give up Hawaii? Or any other past colonial nation it's territories? Maybe all those Italian, Spanish and German immigrants should return to Europe and give Argentina back to its indigenous people too? The argument is bullshit and Argentina should concentrate on sorting it's own house first, it's in enough of a mess.
halcyon23 1 month ago
@halcyon23 Well said sir. It is ridiculous. We hear a similar argument for the return of Texas and the southwestern states to Mexico. The Mexicans claim that they were illegally stolen by the US. By that logic Mexico would then have to return them to Spain, Spain would have to return them to France, France would have to return them to the commanches, The Commanchees would have to return them to the Apaches, the Apaches would have to return them to the Pueblos and so forth.

UN resolution 1541 Principle VI:
"A Non-Self-Governing Territory can be said to have reached a full measure of self-government by:
(a) Emergence as a sovereign independent State;
(b) Free association with an independent State; or
(c) Integration with an independent State."

Stop lying.

EddieExile 1 month ago

@111jasy111
I just said it isn't important how the original British settlement was done. Today's Kelpers are all born there and have been living there for a long time, so their right of self-determination is inquestionable. Let's remember that the first de jure claim was made by Britain in 1690, when Captain John Strong named the islands after the First Lord of the Admiralty, although the first de facto control was established by France, handing over the French settlements to Spain in 1766.
hajdkvjecn 1 month ago
@hajdkvjecn Strong was a merchant that sailed through the sound between the two main islands, naming it Falklands. He named the islands Hawkins. His dubious claim was not reported to the Spanish Crown or any power. Spain had set foot on the islands 150 years before John Strong.
The UN is telling the islanders that is time to govern themselves and stop being subordinates of Britain.
Sadly any islander that dissented with British policies received death threats, murder attempts and had to leave.
111jasy111 1 month ago
We have Y Wladfa in Trevelin, Patagonia. The Welsh community which is as old as the islanders' and we respect them and their culture and traditions, like every foreign community. They do not speak English. They speak Welsh and most of them Spanish too. Argentina did a lot to them during the 20th century. No wonder they never thought they could be governed by Britain, even though Britain invaded Buenos Aires in the 19th century and laughably tried to proclaim sovereignty rights for some weeks.

@111jasy111
Britain controlled the island from 1765 to 1770 and again from 1771 to 1776, so Argentina by far wasn't the first to establish de jure and de facto claims
