Are you sure that this man was taking painkillers? It seems to me it would have been PCP, because he was tripping really hard and he was able to swing a knife at unbelievable speeds but still retaining enough force to break nailed-down, thick, wooden boards. Lol.

(I know that it uses the HL1 engine and the knife's handling speed is based off of the crowbar's handling speed, perhaps it's even the same object reskinned.)

I have played and finished the original Afraid of Monsters, but that one was a fairytale compared to the Director's Cut!! Complete darkness in the hospital (+ in the DC you need batteries to charge up your FL), so when you're powered out, you need to navigate in complete darkness :/
