I believe Kaka has his old speed from AC Milan back. But his ball control has really gone downhill ever since his major injury during the World Cup. For me, I believe Kaka plays better with Ozil on the right wing. But on the other hand, Ozil doesn't perform as spectacularly.

@itachi30s alright...but since then Kaka's been injured and has never been the same. I think most objective people will agree with that. Plus Barcelona still won that game.

It's fine if people say that there is a chance that maybe he might make a difference ( you never know) but saying it as if it's a fact is quite ridiculous. Especially when they are going to play at Camp Nou...in Barcelona's element, with the grass cut just how they like it and barca having only conceded 2 goals there.

@itachi30s I agree. He gave Ronaldo a perfect goal opportunity, but he missed it. Generally, I think he's the type of player who thrives in big matches like this. Hope he starts just so we can see if he can do it again. If he doesn't do good, it's ok. 99% of the time, Real sucks v.s Barca :P

Kaka played good on this game which it means in my opinion that he WANTS to be in the Clasico vs Barcelona as a starter...If he does a little more than this he could probably go on as a starter...for some reason Kaka plays good on Clasicos most of the times.

Everyone commenting is under the impression that Kaka could make the difference...yet he's already played against them both as a starter and sub. He didn't do anything significant. Oezil always disappears against barcelona so what has so many of you convinced still?

Pepe is the only Real player that has so far managed to tame Messi somewhat.... If Messi plays like he did against Malaga it's trouble for attack minded midfielders like kaka and oezil

@nayou317 His first clasico ever he was a total nightmare for the barca back line. He created many chances for his teamates but sadly they couldn't capatalize. The other one he had started was the second leg in the champions. He had just come back from the rehab in his left knee. As for the other clasicos when he was subbed in he had very little time to have any real affect in the game.

Now which classico are you talking about that he was a nightmare?....They couldn't capitalize against barca? story of their life so far I think, whether it's with or without kaka.

So far I think kaka's best days are over...not that he isn't good still but I still have yet to see the kaka of AC Milan. And some days he plays really well for real( this match) and others he's terrible. Inconsistent.

@greatramos93 now kaka and ozil are attacking midfielders...playing them also means risking letting Messi, Xavi and co loose in the midfield to control the tempo of the game and the majority of possession without being marked much or well. Watch the last classico carefully you will notice that every time Messi got the ball he was instantly surrounded by Pepe, Diarra, and Alonso. As soon as pepe left BOOM! Messi assist. The whole Real midfield will suffer from rare opportunities to have the ball.

@greatramos93 As much as you might not like to admit it, barcelona are much better at passing and keeping the ball and the few chances that Real get the ball and breakaway they will also risk the chance of opening up the defense even more for barca to counter like they have recently been successfully doing in the classicos. Kaka and Ozil are not known for their defensive work. They are not as good as the other midfielders in pressing.

But you never know indeed.Might as well try something else.

As for the clasico I stated he was troubling for barca was the 09/10 game at the camp nou. Again in my opinion i really enjoyed how he managed to carry madrid in that match. In that match he set up 3 clear chances infront of valdez not exactly 1 on 1 but gave Ronaldo and marcelo in the first half and benzema in the second to tie it, but they just couldn't.
