Dude use any light you want it can be a laser, torch, lighter etc... Try to use a tripod though, helps alot. And once you have done work on your paintings, try doing it with the sky, trains, water.. Use the environment, really effective. Good luck
Thank you so much for your fast response. I supoose I should get a tripod. I only have my camera..I made some fun stuff with glow sticks and slow shutter speed, but i'd like to be able to do what you have done, it's so neat!!! hmm. i'm sorry for the questions, but what kind of light did you use??? I dk what types of light to even use to make it look like that...a laser? Then I would just paint something on wall in front of me??? Thank u for your help. Love your work...ps. one more quesiton lol..
@kikodude310 Thank you so much. i have a canon eos 7d, so i should be able to do it!!!! Should I hook computer up to camera and shoot remotely so that i could be in picture with light? Thanks for your reply!
@ashinathensga Yeah the 7D can definetelely do it, I have it as well :D these where done with a nikon d60 before i got the 7D though. Just make sure it's on a tripod so it's nice and steady, and it's best to use a small aperture and a very slow shutter speed, if you want to make an actual drawing, you can go up to 30 seconds, or go into bulb mode to go longer than 30 seconds. Turn the mode dial to "B" to use bulb mode. Well this comment is almost maximum size... so have fun with light painting!
