I've been skipping through the dvd. Haven't gotten through watching it properly but the opening piece and montage is beautiful. And you play a really accurate transcript. Thank you for your contribution on the piano sheet. Makes it easier for us without play by ear talent to have fun as well.

Oh, my bad haha. Not that you mention it I do remember hearing it throughout. I'm about halfway through the series. I've transcribed, transposed, whatever the main theme but I haven't written it down.

Great work, and great playing, but you left some of it out. If you listen to some of the postings on here of the opening credits (or if you have the DVD listen to the opening credits) and you'll hear that, at the very beginning, the notes played in the right hand are not quarter notes but eighth notes (or eight and sixteenth notes respectively). Very nice work though. Add that and it's perfect.

@dljuchau - You're absolutely right - or you would be if that was what I had transcribed. But notice the title says "Piano Interlude" not main theme. This exact piece or almost exact piece was played in a couple of places during the miniseries. I have also transcribed the main theme, but I never finished it. I will one of these days.
