  • some of her words are so vulgar but still come out beautifully..

  • Oh my god! It's a beautiful video!

  • dear god some ppl posting here are pretentious twats, u really think she's gonna fuck u if u flatter her enough with that florid prose? lol

  • VIDEO BELLISSIMO <3

  • I've decided to give up on this reality crap for good and retreat into a meticulously created fantasy world where Katie Jane's my girlfriend.

  • @Hastur876

ruining your fantasy by kidnapping katie jane and getting her to marry me :P

  • This reminds me a lot of Queen Adreena.

  • @TheLadyMai No shit...?

  • this visual musical painting haunts me from my first watching months ago........i cant seem to escape it nor it me, so i favorited it .......better to befriend our ghosts then run from them......i love it.....peace

  • It's been much too long since I last heard this voice. Must come back to this wonderful place more often.

  • if anyone comes across these lyrics, please share with the world!

  • we all see what we want to see, but here eyes are speaking a divergent language

  • so beautiful

  • This video could have never been better with the song. It tells the right story, it goes along with the music.

The vision of a forest, a garden, the sunset and night falling is the best way to put an image to katiejane's words and chris' music.

  • lovely song. This lady inspires me to write poetry every time I hear her music. I've loved Katie Jane Garside's work since middle school

  • wow she looks like a ghost...miserable...haunting...fragile...and amazing<3

  • wow she looks like a ghost...miserable...haunting...fagile...and amazing<3

  • Wow this video has a lot of long comments.

    I love the song though.

  • bravo my friend gotta list you on our blastout gig this coming year!

  • this song shows how I feel

  • the scene from 3:19-3:25 is pure magic

  • Love...

  • why didn't this woman get more recognition? she is amazing!

  • I believe she is being metaphorical. Thats what is so lovely about her :)

  • @rockerfaerie I was referring more to the way she represents herself in self-portraits. That aside, I could perhaps grant you that the subject of this song may not be KJ (though it very much seems to be) but the metaphors and imagery used seem to alude to the realisation of age and the fear of 'what if?' that often accompanies it. Again, I may be wrong... What would you suppose the song to be about?

  • I really wish I could find the lyrics for this song!

  • LOVE IT.

  • stunning

  • Ms. Garside can do no wrong...

  • fantastic

  • In my darkest hours...(or any time for katiejane)...

  • Katiejane is a Queen...now of the faeries...Blessed Be!!!

  • @spideycat9 I've been saying that for years XD

  • Katiejane should NEVER know the darkest hour we shall all face one day. For someone who brings such beauty and magnificence into the world, the world should extend her contract with this place...where every subsequent generation can experience her for themselves, in all her splendor. Achingly beautiful song and video.

I attempted to explain this mood with words to my beloved, but she couldn't understand...and she is my beloved no more. Perhaps now she will understand my quiet little world.

  • @Ilyakori @Ilyakori What you wrote here is very powerful!!

  • @ReleaseJulianAssange Indeed. Don't you find that sycophantic rhetoric has an almost nauseating inertia that can cut straight to the soul of anyone it touches? In all honesty, I'm often moved to tears by such obsequiousness.

True beauty, in all its ugliness, is wasted on the nepotist.

  • @kingquaps True what!!

  • @ReleaseJulianAssange Thank you very much. The words that come are only as powerful as their subject--and in this case, they came quite easily. :-)

  • @Ilyakori: I'm not surprised she left you if you said that to her. It's a stalker's lament if ever there was one.

  • @RHutton2710 For your information, I left her, and she returned and is on my page...but, your comment implies that you often see what you want to see, doesn't it? The majority of visitors here came to pay respect to a great artist or to appreciate a beautifully-made video. Perhaps you should have done the same.

You have a wealth of great artists on your page. It is unfortunate that you've chosen to squander such riches in a vain attempt to topple a mountain with a grain of sand. Carry on, sir.

  • @Ilyakori Although I would agree that Mr Hutton has made an assumption I feel that the overall gist of his message is valid. I hope your vapid leach some day learns that she doesn't need to cling to your second hand values and finds validity in her own accomplishments.

Also, given your original, lacklustre comment, I'm not surprised she didn't understand you.

p.s. what is all this talk of pages? And thank you for making me smile: the notion that you consider yourself a mountain is funny

  • @kingquaps 2 weeks ago, I receive a negative, misinformed comment to my original post. I respond, politely...and the bloke subscribes to my page! Whaaa??? Now...his knight in shining armor launches an eerily similar and even more acidic(and laughably asinine!) attack over the same post. Same person, perhaps...or do we have us a pair of uphill gardeners?

Did I not get the memo that February is now National Nutter's month?! 2 weeks...2 pillocks! That's a pillock per week average. I can do better!

  • @Ilyakori The fact of the matter is I have already bad mouthed your trite prior to the assertions of the other chap. You clutch at the old 'homo' straw, attack mental health and judge people by the number of 'followers' they have on a website. My word, you are the master of wit!

You are, to put it in polite terms, a bigoted moron and I say that not to one-up you but as a statement of fact.

    p.s. lol? really?

  • @kingquaps My my...a bit touchy, are we? :-) A bigot? Doubtful. Especially since I'm a paying member of the Human Rights Council, a GAY organization...and, I happen to be BISEXUAL...therefore allowing me the rights and privileges to call out a wayward chap amongst OUR OWN!

I did not assail you for the dearth of followers...merely pointed out the CLEAR irony that exists within their name...and your unwarranted attacks towards me and my girlfriend, which were a bit... 'dim'. Careful, old mum...

  • @Ilyakori You're a painfully predictable sort. "I can't be racist because I have friends of different ethnicity". And whilst you may be sneakly trying to back out of using youtube 'status' against me, it clearly does mean something to you (as demonstrated in earlier posts).

The attack wasn't unwarranted at all. I find it a matter of principle to lambast people for bland, pseudo-emotional guff, and moreover I despise the lack of self respect of the hangers-on of such people.

  • @kingquaps "I find it a matter of principle to lambast people for bland, pseudo-emotional guff, and moreover I despise the lack of self respect of the hangers-on of such people."

    :-o

I believe that would be called...unwarranted?!! Perhaps you would prefer unprovoked, then? So, by your 'esteemed' logic...if a person were to like a book...they CLEARLY lack self-respect?! LOL!!!! Time to step out of mum's basement, mate...and rejoin proper society! Going a bit daft there, old chap!

  • @Ilyakori I found your words very offensive so I would say it was neither unwarranted nor unprovoked.

As for your book analogy: If the person read the book, then discovered the book was actually a massive cunt who walked away from the reader because they didn't like some of its content, then returned to the book for no good reason, then yes, I would say they certainly have some integrity issues. In all fairness I have not read said book...

FYI my mum doesn't have a basement.

  • @kingquaps Nor does she have a child with enough common sense not to attack strangers on the internet for sharing a few random thoughts about someone they admire. Apparently, jealousy really is a sickness! LOL!!!

You are a toothless vampire, and I shall not quicken thee with the blood feud you desire.

Your petty insults are a rusty sword, whilst I wield Excalibur...and wield it justly. Quite simply...

your arms are much too short to box with God!

From whence you came...you may now return.

  • @Ilyakori oh my god.... I feel a strange warmth washing over me... it's becoming too painful.... I can smell hot iron and sulphur compounds... noooooooooo.

    You fucking retard.

  • @kingquaps Forgive me, dear sir! As I reviewed the latest edicts from her majesty...I see that you have indeed been appointed "Harbinger of Taste and Pseudo-Mumbo Jumbo". Congratulations sir...you will NO DOUBT excel at such an esteemed position!

You've acclimated yourself to the job so naturally that, had I not known of your royal appointment...I'd have thought you arrived at it by SHEER ARROGANCE, for no one would want to be THAT SHALLOW by their own accord...would they?!

  • @Ilyakori And the kettle called the pot black. Just so we're clear, does pseudo-mumbo jumbo mean it sounds like I'm talking shit even though I'm not? Also, how did you arrive at the notion that I am shallow?

  • @kingquaps I don't care what you two are on about, please shut up. You're both giving my arse a headache.

  • @kingquaps P.S. I visited your "page"...or whatever it is you call it. I see that your only subscriber AND your only friend, is something called "dimwitsband"?! Really?!!

Sometimes folks...the jokes just write themselves. LOL! Do carry on, sir...please...do carry on! LOL!

  • Lovely! pure perfection.

but i have a question: does anyone have lyrics for this song? or for any of the songs which are on the new album??

  • @PurePolishEvil good question :( guess all can be done is sit down, enjoy and listen carefully... not such a bad perspective though...

  • c'est beau j'en pleure

  • sweet bliss....

  • this is just so fitting and lovely and everlasting...

    love

    HD

    xx

  • I'll say what I said on Vimeo - Brilliant, just brilliant. I think you've captured the song perfectly, with the otherworldly apparitions and aberrant colours. I love it!

  • marry me

  • Genius.

  • Stunningly dreamy and haunting imagery that matches the music...

  • "In my DARKEST hour, I lie down in the arms of these flowers" - I LOVE KJG!

  • Really good, subtle, catches the mood well. I cant believe how hot she manages to be I mean she's 41

  • @zoidberg590 that is because Katie-Jane is half faerie... did you miss the memo? XD

  • @rockerfaerie hmmm.... why does she seem so concerned about growing old then?

  • @zoidberg590 i kno right..she looks like a little kid to me....

  • @zoidberg590 41 aint what it used to be ..I mean M.I.A. is 35 only 6yrs younger

love Daisy Chainsaw Ruby throat the lot

  • @zoidberg590 BULL FUCK.
