That car sounds mean as hell!! im in the process of building a sbc 0.30 over 302 with 12to1 pistons 461 heads a old edelbrock scorpion intake and a mechanical lunati voodoo cam for my 41 willy's coupe gasser project and hope it comes out sounding like your's good luck with your car,Tom

Okay, my sbc has a very identical cam setup, but it was all built before I bought it, I have it running, but I was wondering what you have yours time at, I know stock for the car is 8 degrees BTDC. But I also know that a huge cam like mine will need something different.

I run it at 20 deg BTDC and no ping at 4500 feet above sea level. I think the timing will depend on the compression ratio as well. Try 20 deg and see what happens.

It was terribly slow. I have more tuning to do and a 12 bolt with 4:10 gears to try. It has 3:27's now. I will try it next year and post the results.

you've still got plenty of room for a bigger engine in that thing. I have a Voodoo 62002 in my 390 BBF. It doesnt lope as much as that one, but still sounds nice. I am running Dynomax Thrush 3" welded mufflers and it sounds awesome. What mufflers do you have on your car?

awesome sounding beast you have man!! How does that camshaft perform? Because i was planning on going with that same camshaft in my 350 that im in the process of building. Nice sound and car!

Sorry it took so long to respond. The cam runs fantastic in the car. I highly reccommend the voodoo cams. I am gonna put the car on the 1/4 mile in two weeks and see what it will do. I just put a polished Performer RPM AirGap on it this week.
