@optisailerallday  thats boolocks. im acadet sailer. these boats arnt powerul or fast. but i do admit hey are good to start sailing an race because there is feircde compitition. but they arnt fast or powerfull

@optisailerallday They are great to learn in and at the age you sail them they could be considered fast and powerful but in the grand scheme of things they are neither.

The racing really is amazingly competitive tho.

I was at Largs a year or two ago at the Oppie Worlds (not competing - sailing sopmething else) and it was a sight to behold.

Loads and loads of oppies all over the clyde.

But adding a 420 spinnaker and going out for a laugh - that sounds like fun.
