It definitely looks like a pipe but until our governments are more forthcoming about such matters,we may never know for sure. There's so much about the trips into space that our taxes pay for that is kept classified from us. For all we know, there could be NASA astronauts on Mars right now. Unless CNN reports it, most people here won't even dream of believing ANYTHING. It's like we have been programmed to have closed minds. I've NEVER seen any rock like this. I hope we get to find out for sure.

Unfortunately, you will not see any water pipes because they are too small to see at this resolution. If you zoom in on a clear image you will see thousands of pipes. You will also see thousands of tiny built structures as well.

in my oppinion i think it may be a possibility that intelligent humans have been around for millions of year and maybee did live on mars once, but i believe that the same thing happening to earth now prolly happened to mars long ago and the survivors moved to earth but did not share these things that happened with new generations for the fear that it could happen again(we restarted the way did things) but you know us humans always lookin for answers and before you knew it here we are again

I say it looks like a flower pot or something similar, as there is a pic from the rover showing a broken dinnerplate ID number pia=1907 from spirit rover. Seems you would need bigger pipes to transport water south.Unless it was pipes to a house long gone?Never the less Mars is a habitable world,Nasa and Esa cover this up. Water is still abundant on the surface,just not like the past, when there were oceans.They need to land in the dark regions that are green and blue not the deserts.

it is habitable, the water is not dry ice and the atmosphere is only toxic to humans. there are many microbes that would thrive on mars. sure most of the surface water may be frozen but having a warm core there is likely millions of gallons of water in under ground wells and rivers.

kinda looks natural made, not a pipe. i believe their are spectacular ruins, monuments, and many other wonderful things on mars, but this isen`t one of them. I mean think about it, if their was (or is) an advanced civilization their why would they use such a crude method of transporting water? and why would their pipes look like ours? i think they would of use a far more advanced and more effecient way of transporting water. That is just my thought, i could be wrong. Great video anyway! 5 stars

really kind of blurry ,could it be natural? sure.But untill they release better images,it's a choppy guess. If a CGI can make a ufo fling throught the sky look convincing,i'm sure thatan image is easy to manipulate.

Umm...it's clearly a large boulder, not a pipe. This kind of misinterpretation is similar to the famous "face" on Mars. Sometimes the shadow side of certain rocks and other natural objects can make them appear to look like other things. Rest assured, alien life on Mars, or at last intelligent life, has been ruled out.

I know it is, I have contacted NASA about it and they will not give me an official response. I escalated it to NASA/JPL and the Phoenix team of scientist and they won't get back to me. These pipes look like they are some type of strange metal. If you zoom in 1000% these pipes almost shine. They look like titanium.
