Heres the key to KPIT if you are not familiar with the airport. When you get off the plane follow the people, everything flows to the core, down the escalators and onto the train.
u say, what a long way to get to da bagage claim, well therz a reson for dat son, it so when da next time u fly to pit, let me know so i can jake move ur lugage! and yes both freakin trams go to the same area! did u see da light at da end of da tunnel bi-otch?!! GO STEELERS!!!!!
You say old and confusing.. we say PIT has been frequently recognized for its quality in meeting travelers' needs. OAG Worldwide listed the facility to its short list of the world's best airports for four consecutive years. The market research leader, JD Power and Associates named PIT among the top five airports in its two most recent customer satisfaction surveys. Conde Nast Traveler's Magazine named PIT the best in the United States and third in the world in its 2000 People's Choice Award.
Yes, it LOOKS old though it may not be old. And, confusing only because it was confusing for our specific flight. They sent us to the wrong bagage claim that was like a million miles from our terminal. And I actually loved Pittsburgh while I was there and plan to go back!
I find it funny and a bit strange that in your description of this video, you call PIT a 'very old looking airport both inside and outside.' It's one of the most recently built major airports in the country, having been completed in 1992. It's decades newer than JFK. PIT is also consistently ranked among the best airports in the country and world for its flyer-friendly features, gigantic 'Airmall' and simple means of making a connection without exiting security and having to go back through.
It's a damn shame how USAirways killed this hub. I remember changing planes in this terminal back in 1994, and it was barely 2 years old, and it was such a nice facility
My uncle works at Phl for US AIRWAYS he used to work at PIT and he said PHl is very nice but has some bad weather. What airline did you chose? whats ur favorite airline?
Philadelphia's airport is really, nice, at least I thought so, it's clean and I like the shopping area, it is very regular though, no special architecture or anything, and its pretty big...
No offense kid but if you find PIT to be confusing, how bad must others seem to you (particularly JFK and company)? Granted, this is my hometown but I've found it to be among THE easiest and LEAST confusing airports in which to navigate.
oh cool! Yes, it was definitely nice, but as I said before and maybe it was just the one time that I was there, it was very empty and not crowded at all. Even felt a little eerie because there was just nobody around. I'd be interested to see if its the same as when you go on Tuesday. Comment the video when you get back from your trip and let me (us) know how you liked the airport! How is Philly airport by the way? I never been there...
The Philly airport is pretty big. It's right off of I-95. Thhey have terminals A-F. They have a bunch of shops and food. Basically like any other airport. There is normall a lot of people there...but yeah ill comment on this after i come back from pittsburgh.
yea it not old at all...in fact it state of the art...and the reason it wasnt crowded is becuase us airways once operated there largest hub out of here, but in 2004 they cut everything
"Old" ?? it was built in 1992. It is the easiest bagge claim in the country. You are an idiot , quit your overreacting and complaining...go back to JFK the circus of all airports..
didnt the concourse e shut down last ime i was there
