The way in which the power is delivered is never matched by a 4 stroke. My gamma 500 gave 50bhp upto 7000 rpm which instantly doubled giving a breathtaking experience. It also sounded better than anything ive ever ridden. It was a fookin madman!

You are a 100% right about that!

I was going to build one just like a Wayne Rainey Replica but when I found out about Rz500 engine I got turned down completely. So much easier and cheaper to get much more power out of the RG500 engine.

fuckin excelent, i just wish these beast's had stayed in gp's, dont get me wrong i love the 4stroke gp bike's we have now, but 2 stroke 500's are a real mister's bike, it'd be interesting to see some of the new generation gp rider's try to master a full on 2 stroke 500, look forward to a testing vid on this bike

we watched rossi do it a bit eh? pretty much every one of them have had the pleasure of cutting their teeth on the 250s...I'm not gonna make such a bold statement to say they simply couldn't transition. The 800cc 4 strokes will flat smoke these. Nostalgia is cool and all but I welcome any technology at the GP level that trickles down to us lowly street riders. I certainly wouldn't want to deal with a 2 stroke every day thru riding season.
