the tube goes into where a speaker in connected to the key bored. to sound comes out of his tube and into his mouth so when he moves his mouth. it distorts the sound and depending on what key he its. it will change the sound...

Just to further add - especially that upper register. How do you get it sounding so sweet and balanced? Is that something thats tweaked within the dx settings for the upper registry? I find that i have no velocity control between my lower and upper registry... If anyone could shed some light on this i would appreciate it very much - especially from DA MAN himself - Mr. Bryon... Praise the lord.....

Byron - please share the patch that you are using. I am a bit confused - what is the Lysern Patch? I got the dx100 and i have tried several combinations but i just cant get that tone and sound that you got going on brother.... Would appreciate some advise on that.... Peace and luv....

Byron, How do you deal with all the saliva that your mouth makes when that tube is in your mouth? I know I have the clear tube with my S. Talker and I produce a lot of saliva with the tube in my mouth.

Byron uses the LYSERN patch on the DX-100 but the ROger setting is on HARD BRASS using a maxed SQUARE or SINE WAVEFORM with 0 ATTACK!

Yes you can use an FM SAW TOOTH ....the WAVEFORM has little effect on the actual sound effect that comes out of the tube into your mouth like the PATCH , the ATTACK, and the FREQUENCY!!!!
