Thank you so much for uploading. I liked it so much I immediately bought the album on Amazon. I've always loved the Allemande from this Partita and I have several recordings of it on different instruments. Another little known but excellent performance of this piece can be found on an album titled "Many Strings Attached" where it is played on a Viola d'amore. However, this recorder performance just shot to the top of my list!
Congratulation to your Allemande!! You are the rare animal who understand the form, e.i. the integration of harmony and polyphony, which is absent from flute players presented on Youtube [I perused their performances, but not completely].
On the other hand, I am of the opinion that Corrente [and Bouree] ought to maintain their "dance' character, i.e. keeping the time.
where is the "flow" of the Allemande? He plays 50% legato and 50 % nearly staccatto, what's just wrong. The second part shouldn't be repeated (have a look to the faksimile!). I don't like it very much :-(
Thank you for uploading this. I've been looking for a recording of this played on the recorder since I first heard a live performance on WQED Pittsburgh in 1980!!
sounds great. good job!!!

Very nicely played.. are there any sheet music for this arrangement?
What recorder did you play it on? The tenor or alto?
