  • is he still on the presentation team?

  • Videos were brill, I watched them all, about 6 months ago.. Now I'm about to start my Trainee Gunners Course. :) cheers goody.

  • Thanks for all these videos, ive watched them all from week 1-10 and enjoyed them very much. Im 15 nearly turning 16 and hoping to join the RAF Gunners when i am at the suitable age. I cant wait plus these videos have given me more of a reason to join up. thanks.

  • I have dreampt of being in the RAF for a long time now, i didnt make the grade for Intel, but i am waiting for another stab. I think any area in the RAF and other forces are the real people of the UK. Real people, real heros to our ungrateful country. Wish to be wearing the uniform and doing my bit ASAP.. Keep up the good work all of you!

  • I'm 19, am soon taking my NPPL (national private pilot's license) but don't have A-Levels... I really want to join as a pilot. Anyone know of a way to take my A-Levels within the next 5 years? (maximum joining age is 25, I'm 20 in July) =[

  • @FmMan33 apply for college ?

  • @FmMan33 A levels only take 2 years mate, can do it in one year if you're hardcore lol

  • Im hoping to join the RAF as a police officer.. I have Standard Grades or GCSE's for English Schools...I am currently doing my Higher Levels.. and i have a year left of school.. so i will have a few Highers in Maths English and German, and possibly Modern Studies, Business management and Administration... Do you think there will be a chance for me in the RAF as police or anything higher. ?? i am currently 17, Male.

    Thanks.

  • @SCOAlba Hi, you need three Highers at grade A to C. You can find out more on the RAF POlice Officer page on RAF Careers, it's under Jobs, Find Jobs and then 'Force Protection'

  • Thanks for the videos, they have made me very interested in joining the RAF regiment after college. I was wondering how long it would be from application to joining? thanks.

  • I really wanna rejoin but i want to get into the RAF regiment ! Going in to the office tomorrow see if i can reaply ! Hope i can I made a massive mistake leaving the forces, Its my dream !

  • i really want to join the RAF im 21 female with no gcse's do i stand a chance an how hard is it knowlege wise im a great learner but when it comes to exams im awful, any advice would be awsum thanks

  • @hopefullish Hi, unfortunately the only trade in the RAF you can join with no GSCEs is RAF Regiment Gunner, which is only available to men. I know this is disappointing, but there are lots of trades open to women with two GCSEs (in English and Maths) at grade G/6 or above, so if you can keep working at it, it is definitely worth trying to get those qualifications! You have to pass an apititude test to get in, as well as health and fitness tests - advice is provided on the RAF Careers site

  • Hope to join up, thanks for all the vids... alot of infomation.

  • yeh hes a legend, he came to do a presentation at my ATC squadron.

  • i did my pgac last april, word of advice - get fit and have a good attitude. the amount of cocky twats who got thrown off the pgac because they had the wrong attitude, ha! just be fit and give it all you've got and you'll pass.

  • bad attitude is always a problem. on my ATC JNCO course there was a cocky twat who fought he was the best, ( i don't care if you know how to put the tyres off the cones and back on in the right order in the quickest time or if you can tie a lasso... just shut the hell up!!! lol) he disrespected loads of staff and failed the course. rofl

  • @night6sceptre101 lmao i wudnt say i hav the best attitude , but its obvious to know the boundries when being likeably cheeky and disrespectful lol, anyway did u pass?

  • yah. loads of SNCO's think i'm a good cadet and good NCO material but my course report was rubbish :P i had either good or satisfactory and a RFI (room for improvement) for command and leadership because i couldn't control the cocky bastard lol.

  • @night6sceptre101 well he isnt going to go very far in life, its not your fault hes socialy reatarded lol hav u started service yet? what regiment are you in ?
