I think gina its also about the way that peoples agents want them to be in front of the camera as they want to air a good interview. ive seen a few times with peter andre that he asks his agents how his interview went and if he needs to do anything different. I think it all just depends really

cuz America is all about IMAGE, how handsome, how beautiful...he's talented, HE CAN act...but the British acting, is more robotic to me, technical, and cold....dont like british actors....they are all BIG in America....He's Irish, so they wouldnt give him a credit in UK. cuz he has to pass the Shakespeare test first! LOL !!

he's done more work in America and filming I guess - I agree he's better looking than Mr Tennant but I kind of like him too loved him as Dr Who and Casenova - I'd love Jonny to be more popular here he should do some more work the UK and Ireland for sure xx

I got a headache searching for it yesterday, seems they took it off youtube. I am guessing it might have been the interview with Conan O'Brien... it's the only one I can't find. I asked a friend f mine who is a BIG JRM fan. Hopefully she gets back to me. She knows everything and probably has it all saved. lol

I know on myspace the first 10 or more are fan sites or huge fans themselves as well as part of the Tudor Wiki which is how we met. :) She is a pretty cool chick, her name is fran. However, she doesn't know the interview but will ask around the fan sites. Someone other than me had to have seen it. lol

I only have her on myspace and she doesn't check that often so go ahead and see if you two can find the interview together. lol Maybe a downloading site like limewire will have the conan/jonny interview? I am almost sure that is the one. I assume so since I think I looked through all the other ones. lol

I didn't read it, I saw it in an interview on tv. I am sure it was during the first season of the Tudors. I believe it might have been Craig Ferguson or Jay Leno?? I am sure it is on youtube somewhere! I can look for it and post the link?

if you can find it yes I'd like to see - seems very strange I can listen to him speak for ages - I particularly like listening to him when he read Saki - I could listen over and over he has a lovely voice whatever he's saying :))

I love his Irish accent, but he said in one or more interviews that his girlfriend dispises it so he has to use more of an English accent to appease her. How wrong is that? Look at that face, those lips and that bod! He can talk jiberish for all I care. I think that is part of the reason he mentions how America loves that he is Irish... cause we do love him. He doesn't have to pretend for us. :)

Like I said Jonny has to do lots of diff accents I'm sure he has lost a bit of his strong Irish accent along the way -

I've seen him in interviews he chops & changes all the time - at the globes he was Irish to the US interviewers & a bit more english to english interviewers it made me smile he's good at accents. I can't let the US have the monopoly on loving him though Steph there's plenty love him here in the UK :)

i think the bbc adaption of the tudors is alot more realistic to the characters. exspeically mariah kennady as queen catherine. and henry the 8 was handsome and athletic when he was younger so JRM does that well

I've got used to the beard I do like I should imagine he has to keep it for filming the Tudors.

As for the accent I can hear his Irish accent it's just not as pronounced in this interview again maybe as he has to adopt different accents he's into whatever he's doing at the time - english accent for Tudors which he's still filming and I think he has an american accent in his latest film he recently finished. I could listen and look at him non-stop really that's how bad it's got ;))))
