Wonderful sword dance - i loved it! You are a very lovely dancer! I would've enjoyed the visual more if the background was a little more interesting (i.e. bed, shoes, etc. too much distraction from you dancing. I use a bedspread with an interesting pattern and pillows to give a bit more mystic and goddess energy. Other than that I really enjoyed your dance!! Thank you so much, from another sword belly dancing woman.. ;~D Keep on dancin'
Yea, I agree about things being distracting, but I really have no other place else to practice. My house is too small. *sad face* Maybe I'll invest in a new comforter and such to brighten things up lol.
The sword isn't battle ready, so it's not possible for me to cut myself (thankfully). I'd be more worried about dropping it on my foot and breaking my toe. My scimitar is HEAVY.
@rexman92 yea, it took a while for me to learn proper isolation technique. It's not beginner level technique, let me tell you. But the scimitar is made to balance--I just find the the balance point and then dance. ^_^
loved the dance and you look verry cute in that costume.
when you balanced your sword i was pretty amazed
