Vibhavari Apte Joshi did a much much better job than the original singer, whoever she maybe...I mean no offence or insult to anybody, but Vibhavari sang this with a lot of Soul. However, the visuals here kind of make up for the lack of expressions in the song. Thank you very much for the upload Avinash.

Yes she is Bal Barve's daughter. Suchitra sang it first for Swami. give credit where credit is due. Yes I agree Vibhavari is a great singer, no doubt. I hope she wins Sa re ga ma pa. I believe they both have different sounds. Chitra had to sing it a certain way for Swami, and VA has added a little zest. Anyway we can agree to disagree.

"A childhood friend" does not qualify her to be a better singer, that itself shows your bias. I also never thought of Vibhavari as a "great" singer. She just sang this song well. I guess we surely can agree to disagree.BTW, Vibhavari was the last one voted out from SRGMP, and Hrishikesh is declared winner.

comp[aring the song which was sang 20 years back (1986) to 2009 vibhvarish version , is totally wrong.
Bothe of them are very good singers and their version reflecst their unique singing syle.
So be a true music lover. Lisen Both the song and enjoy them .. And it for your love ones.
