It is true, most vet techs are women. It does not say "ONLY women are vet techs", no it said "MOST".
And for the "women are very nurturing towards animals," it is true as well. Our female bodies are built so that there is a release of hormones that make us "awe" over certain things: namely baby animals and babies of our own species. Men do not have that chemical release. It's simple science and the way our bodies are made.
@Shazoka yeah exactly especially with that strong maternal instinct that most women have that make them passionate about what they do when it comes to veterinary medicine and working with animals.
I agree with smerrigan, I am currently studying to become a vet tech. And find it quite insulting that your comment is very female orriented. You might consider reviewing that comment. for a am a male and will be working with wild animals once I graduate. that or in lab research.

Why is it insulting? Just because she didn't picture men? I think you're being a bit dramatic here so what if there are no men they might be colleagues or friends of hers and she doesn't have a broad ban of male techs to include. Quit being so temperamental about it.

Think about if a male Dr. made a similar video stating most males are Dr.s-(in trying to recruit males to become Dr.s)..please, women's lib would be all over a video of that nature...

Everyone is well aware in ever profession of Veterinary Technology there is a fair share of both male and female participants. I think you lack self confidence if you need something oh so obvious staring you in the face. For your info out of 7 years of being a tech out of 40 coworkers 2 were male, as in techs.
