I'm definitely going to pick up on of those Pro Angler rods. What kind of reel do you suggest for bank fishing? Tossin jigs and floating minnows? I'm fishing creeks mostly.
Those pro angler cat rods are tuff as nails. I just got 6 of them this year and 4 a few years ago. I may have to get some of these crappie rods. I noticed they bumped the price of the cat rods from 35 to 42 bucks...8(. Still well worth the 42 dollars tho.
Believe it or not my dad caught one near a damn on the White Face Resevor in minnesota that was nearly 4 pounds... thing looked like a deflated football haha.
Lake Millwood, Arkansas. That is very common for that lake. The 3 lber is what you are after. We fish mostly Texas lakes. Millwood is close to Texarkana. Find the Crappie Cnglers of Texas Channel here on youtube and watch the Millwood videos - fish up to 2.74 lbs.
