You dont weave it through a scrog you push the branches back down and out then let it start to grow up and take the branch again and then push it down and out to a farther hole. Do this with all the branches until 2/3rds of the scrog net is filled then switch the lights to 12/12. Then what you can do it tye a rope to the middle of the branches, pull it up to the net and tie it so that most of the branch is parallel with the net instead of diagonal.

Diesel finishes in 10-12 weeks, not 9.... The leaves turn purple when she's close. You were way to green to be close. Remember , NYC diesel has 40-60% sativa genetics. Very cool set-up though.

What is the temp in your box? I'm trying to dial in my similar set up with four 26 watt cfls but the temp is at or near a hundred. I have the same size box as you have it looks like, and an intake whole and exaughst fan about the size of yours, though your fan is designed for the task where mine is a small battery powered desk fan. Beautiful technique and sick yield bro! Any advice is much appreciated.
as a general rule, ya gotta train the plants fully under the screen ~50% filled up during veg, then the other ~50% filled during flowering stretch for it to be a true ScroG. this depends on strain and grow conditions, but is a good baseline rule.
plenty of folks trellis grow, however. for a CFL grow, those are pretty impressive buds! nice work. gonna step up to HPS someday?

"Screen of Green" - ScrOG is a take on "Sea of Green" or SOG, but using a trellis or screen, to create the appeareance of a uniform Sea, or Screen, of geen. different grow approach, with a similar goal- a uniform, fully filled canopy. checkout my vid for a somewhat-decent, but not perfect, SCROG attetmpt. it really takes a LOT of timing/experience to fully dial in the canopy- i was 75% successful at Scrog.
oh yea i forgot SCROG originates from SOG. youre right, its the same idea except one uses a lot of plants to make a even canopy and one uses a screen to train less plants into a even canopy. seems like trellis's are usualy vertical, inclined, or arched tho, u know?
if anything it looks like the screen is helping him distribute the light to the individual buds beter so id call it a scrog.
@FopeDarmer a slight concavity/bowl shape would probably be ideal under a horizontal bulb for Scrog
in a trellis grow, you just let the plant naturally grow up through the net. it's for support of the colas as they get heavy and bend- much like some guys use stakes or tomato cages. Scrog is training the plants under a net or screen during both veg and early flower to max out your canopy. just my .02.

Hrm, not really a scrog grow. The screen probably hindered the growth of this plant, to be honest. The point of a scrog is to fill the screen. Your plant barely reaches the screen with absoloutley no bending. I would have lowered the screen about 4 inches and started training those branches earlier. there really shouldn't be much veg *under* the screen.
All in all, decent stealth setup and not bad for CFLs.
Scrog or not...that is a FAT plant and NO ONE can talk bad about the grow Chevelle performed in that little of a space....MAD props to him. Id love to see anyone else even attempt to get as much bud as Chevelle did, i bet he had MAX yield possible.

@ktosi11 It is a scrog it's just not done properly. The screen is supposed to be 75% filled befor you switch to 12/12. This guy should have lowered the screen, he would have yielded more.

You are TOO FUCKING GOOD, to waste all that space, and have the middle of your screen as empty as you do. Your plants are healthy, and robust, they just are not getting the light they need to create buds like it wants to.
I am amazed at how much you CAN get with those CFLs, but you will quadruple your yield with a HPS.
he can easily fix the middle buds and get them bigger.. if you notice the biger tops are right under the light.. if he was to add anoter light right in the middle that plant would be even more badass

@chevelle712k6 I thought when using the scrog technique you took the branches and basically weaved them through the screen, not to just separate them, but to lay them out horizontally below the light. That way a weaved branch can start growing vertical buds all down it. Am I mistaken? I see your way works great but I was just wondering.

true dat. look at your leaves as they flush of nutrients, what you want is a nice peaceful sleeping yellow. Are dark spots on your dead leaves represents confusion in the circulation of the leaf. You want a nice even yellow flush...yes, HPS is all about intensity. Intensity will pack on the weight, think of it like calories. HPS is high fat high cal intake, and LED/CFL/others are all lush but not intense. They work AWESOME for veg...but intensity during flowering.
nice grow! congrats pharmer chevelle. I do notice that your screen is too high, restricts the fatness....check out smokinsilly that phuqr has some buds. also, 7th week flush? I'd hydro, some say the flush can be done in 5 days, it requires more hands on. I would shave every branch free of leaves, but keep the branches under the screen, and tie off the flowers to the screen, after a 6X LST covering 6 weeks, then hit then with 1000, errr ..a bigger CFL in your case :-) peace out
Yea I've always read u flush for the last 2 weeks and by the time ur done all the leaves will b yellow and ull end up with a lil higher potency and better taste but yes I probably should have vegged a lil bit longer but owell I'll do better on the next grow
yeah mon, you have to feed the plants nothing but water. Like right now you're at 1600-2400 ppm? well, you need to go to 0.0 ppm for 2 weeks for dirtbaggin and undetermined for hydroponics. I had an ebb and flow, and i did mine for 5 days. See the problem here is that all the laws about growing are all written in dirt. Too much time, People need to realize this. All the grow info is written back when dirt was the thing, hydro is much quicker.

more of a trellis grow than a ScroG grow.

@ktosi11 It is a scrog it's just not done properly. The screen is supposed to be 75% filled befor you switch to 12/12. This guy should have lowered the screen, he would have yielded more.

What about ordor? Is it away to totally netulize it in a small space. Although I have my own apartment I do have friends that can over and family who I DO NOT WANT TO KNOW I SMOKE or that I am growing.
This seems as if you were growing in a utility area, thus you may have not have cared. '
As for me I have decided to buy a PC stealth grower, use the scrog method, but still worried about the SMELL.
Any advice?

The cannabis looks excellent. The "scog" technique increased your yeild by a huge amount.

dude i like that screen/ fence idea over the plants to keep em from growing up to tall. really like the cheap set up, makes the out come so much cooler. Next time i start i will show you my set up, keep them in a draw with light and foil

You are TOO FUCKING GOOD, to waste all that space, and have the middle of your screen as empty as you do. Your plants are healthy, and robust, they just are not getting the light they need to create buds like it wants to.
I am amazed at how much you CAN get with those CFLs, but you will quadruple your yield with a HPS.

@chevelle712k6 I thought when using the scrog technique you took the branches and basically weaved them through the screen, not to just separate them, but to lay them out horizontally below the light. That way a weaved branch can start growing vertical buds all down it. Am I mistaken? I see your way works great but I was just wondering.

@stludachris no u dont have to weave the plant through the screen just keep everything under it till its completly filled up then flower it. i flowered a little too early with this one i was still worried about the plant getting too tall so i flowered and still kept pushing it back under the screen

true dat. look at your leaves as they flush of nutrients, what you want is a nice peaceful sleeping yellow. Are dark spots on your dead leaves represents confusion in the circulation of the leaf. You want a nice even yellow flush...yes, HPS is all about intensity. Intensity will pack on the weight, think of it like calories. HPS is high fat high cal intake, and LED/CFL/others are all lush but not intense. They work AWESOME for veg...but intensity during flowering.

nice grow! congrats pharmer chevelle. I do notice that your screen is too high, restricts the fatness....check out smokinsilly that phuqr has some buds. also, 7th week flush? I'd hydro, some say the flush can be done in 5 days, it requires more hands on. I would shave every branch free of leaves, but keep the branches under the screen, and tie off the flowers to the screen, after a 6X LST covering 6 weeks, then hit then with 1000, errr ..a bigger CFL in your case :-) peace out

Yea I've always read u flush for the last 2 weeks and by the time ur done all the leaves will b yellow and ull end up with a lil higher potency and better taste but yes I probably should have vegged a lil bit longer but owell I'll do better on the next grow

yeah mon, you have to feed the plants nothing but water. Like right now you're at 1600-2400 ppm? well, you need to go to 0.0 ppm for 2 weeks for dirtbaggin and undetermined for hydroponics. I had an ebb and flow, and i did mine for 5 days. See the problem here is that all the laws about growing are all written in dirt. Too much time, People need to realize this. All the grow info is written back when dirt was the thing, hydro is much quicker.
