If you are trying to hook up Digital Cable Box (cablevision, US) it will not work through HDMI cable. Which means another remote controller to use. You will end up hooking up HDMI cable from digital box to TV, and audio to receiver...... I returned this receiver, plus it was damaged when I opened it. Called Pioneer, they said VSX-921, VSX-1021, VSX-1121 will play video straight from box to tv, but they cost over twice as much.
this is a great receiver i ever brought.... i brought this receiver along with the included speakers about a month ago. the htp 521 is a system you would be inpressed with but i recommend changing the speakers because they lack the sound quality
what is the difference between 521 and 520?
