I love watching this when I was 7 when it was on ABC(WTVM Columbus) Any mark goodson game shows that appears on ABC kinda looks depressing. the setting kinda reminds me of super password and classic concentration. When they play the opening theme during commercial remind me of family feud

I believe this revival of "Match Game" & a revival of "Classic Concentration" were the last two game shows Mark Goodson produced before his death.

R.I.P. Mark Goodson...1915-1992.

@ChihuahuaboyDH - and you also have "To Tell the Truth" (1990-91) w/ Gordon Elliot, Lynn Swann, and Alex Trebek and "Family Feud" w/ Ray Combs (1988-94) and "Now You See It" (1989) w/ Chuck Henry as well.

This version of "Match Game" was also the last Mark Goodson show to air on ABC-TV.

"Trivia Trap" (which also aired on ABC-TV from 1984-85) was that last original show Goodson produced. All other subsequent shows (including this version of MG) were revivals of his previous shows.
