tip:in real life done flare the jet on a carrier land if ur doing an arrested won.(won with the hook) because it will damage the nose gear with all the impact when the hook hits the ground luckily the gear is to damaged that it cant be used.

Hey--cool vid. I love LockOn--have been using it for over a year. One thing--lately I'm getting quite a few game crashes--especially it seems if I am doing something that involves getting a warning from the aircraft or maybe the tower as well. Or the plane may stop responding to input, go into the water, and then keep going, at which point I use TM to exit. It is LOFC 1.12--all patched. Any ideas what could be the cause?

When you create your mission there içs a weather menu,.... For the difference, just read the read me of FC. By the way a new FC patch will come in january,... But it will not be free (almost 15/20$)

I just went and DL the torrent.

Its a very good game...just very complicated.I fund it harder than FS9 or FSX because all the stuff is mapped to the keyboard or your joy stick...unlike FS where you can click on the control from the cockpit view.

This is just a question of practice.

Sinking a carrier (the CVN 70 or the Kuz, for me it just ships, I don't care which side it belongs), so I said, sinking a carrier with missiles is a "quite easy" task in LO... Maybe you should practice with the UB-13, that's more fun ;~)

This is a very hard question... it depends of your own sensations and of your feeling. There is some real pilots on LO and on Falcon. Both are great games and you can't say Lo or falcon is better than the other...

My advice is to test both game. Personnaly, my choice is LO but as I already wrote you can argue for both

Make a payload with the wanted rockets... For rusianns planes in LO, Ub-13 are very efficients and pretty easy to use.

In flight, A2G mod with the "7" key, you cycle the munitions with "D", select the rockets (confirm on the Hud and on the weapon control panel), target, shoot... 2 see it in action go to my channel and look at the video "From Russia with love": very effective on a heavy sam site

Hie & thx for your comm. The commercial addon Flaming cliffs provides better modelised landings & damages. For the tail hook, just hit "ctrl+G"

The one and only plane which is added in LO FC/gold is the Su-25T,... F-14, F-16 or F-18 are not flyable by default. you can use a mod to fly them, but you'll get the flight model and the cockpit of the sukhoi's, the F-15 or the A-10... In brienf, of one of the flyable aircraft.

I hope that one day, Eagle dynamics will publish some tools to insert brand new cockpits and to copy the flights models

I used a athlon XP 2200+ at 1.8 Hgz with 1Go of DDR ram and a radeon 9500 pro since a few years and it was great. Most of my video was shooted with this old config. Now I opt for a core2duo E6850, 2Go of DDR2 at 1000Mhz and a nvida 8800 GS (now the 8800 GT is better and cheaper) and Lo looks really awsome ;)

My videos have been made with an Athloin XP2200+ @ 1.8Ghz and a radeon 9500 pro. An old and low config. I just change because new mods are not really fps friendly. With your config, you should use a FPS tweak like TweakG23 or Gozr :)

Everything at the top in LO, no graphics cfg tweak, grounpouder 4.5 and grandsurf Airbase beta 2, never underr 30fps. The GT is much more accurate than my GTS bought 2 weeks before :(

Damages are rebuild in flaming cliff version, specially the damges of the Su-25T. So if you have Lock-On v.1 and not V1.12 damages are not as good as in the FC version

You can say "thank you"... Google can help you to find some tutos.

In Lockon --> edit menu --> record track. When you have finished your flight, you can save it and you get a ".trk" file.

(part I) You open the trk file in the edit menu where you can choose video edit (ctrl + E I think), you save it again.

Then, you reopen the .trk file and you select "Encode video", the best is to encode with a lossless codec but you will get a big file. The easy way is to choose Divx and put quantization to 1.
