  • What an amazing wonderful woman. Her story has really inspired me, for I myself suffer from Depression and feel that life has also given me many hills to climb and descend. I hope that many people who have mental issues and those that don't, view this for a better understanding.

    God Bless Everyone

  • wow, how amazing !!! she was such an incredible person. i wish i could have just half of her drive and motivation.

  • BEAUTIFUL story!!

  • amazing lady and it shows you can get better RIP marie balter

  • When you have a child who was dumped by her mother, and adopted by people who hung her from rafters, what other behavior would one expect, other than deep depression, and a panic disorder? It's called severe child abuse. I cannot believe how stupid, and cruel doctors were in the old days. I can't believe the things people do to children these days, either. This lady was so wonderful. I'm sure she is with Jesus now. Good luck to you Marie.

  • This was an amazing series. I started about 2 hours ago looking up Urban Exploration, and I found myself here. I've really grown a better appreciation for people with mental illness, my own faith, and this woman's accomplishmens. If she can get to where she did from where she came from... then no one has an excuse.

  • tragic to see that she died. she has lived one hell of a life and triumphed. atleast she is finally at home with God.
