What an amazing wonderful woman. Her story has really inspired me, for I myself suffer from Depression and feel that life has also given me many hills to climb and descend. I hope that many people who have mental issues and those that don't, view this for a better understanding.
it was her faith that moves her to fight in all the obstacles she encountered, life is never be that easy but if we have faith in God and let GOD be alone to be our guide.
Very inspirational and I am not a big fan of my Roman Catholic religion but after seeing people who are strong because of their faith kind of makes you think about it!
Hey, I just saw the virgin Mary in my apt...who's coming over? Hey, don't throw cabbage...I'm just saying, almighty is everywhere...Marie is awesome...
When you have a child who was dumped by her mother, and adopted by people who hung her from rafters, what other behavior would one expect, other than deep depression, and a panic disorder? It's called severe child abuse. I cannot believe how stupid, and cruel doctors were in the old days. I can't believe the things people do to children these days, either. This lady was so wonderful. I'm sure she is with Jesus now. Good luck to you Marie.
This was an amazing series. I started about 2 hours ago looking up Urban Exploration, and I found myself here. I've really grown a better appreciation for people with mental illness, my own faith, and this woman's accomplishmens. If she can get to where she did from where she came from... then no one has an excuse.
Just watched the six of these and have to say marie balter was an amazing woman!! It's amazing to see how much a person can go through and come out the other side strong and happy.
Just watched the 6... must say Marie Balter is one of the most remarkable ladys i have ever seen.. RIP.. the world will miss you and the joy that you brought
i to watched all 6 parts in a row and was amazed of how one can over come anything thrown it there paths and become everything they have wanted to do. she was a very remarkable woman
I watched also all 6 parts in a row, such a touching documentary. It shows you true willpower, courage and strength of an amazing woman. It's good things have been changed in mental institutions, it must have been a hell for patients back in those days.
Hey thanks, you saved me a ton of work, once I ripped the URL watermark off the begining and stiched it all together. You'd never know I gaffed it from youtube.
I enjoyed this video and I can relate with alot of what this women had to deal with and the way she had to work through her day to day issues and was able to make it back
