  • 'Cause I've got friends in low places where the whiskey drowns

And the beer chases my blues away and I'll be okay

I'm not big on social graces, think I'll slip on down to the oasis

Oh, I've got friends in low places LOL

  • where did u get ur rear fender and struts? im gonna chop my 95 vt600 but still wanna b able 2 ride the ol lady ya know? holla later

  • sick bike man, i still havent decided to start my project, i just filed my taxes and im -600 bucks hahaha so im short of money right now too

  • Great bobber!

  • I love this Bobber

  • hey what kind of front tire is that?? Does it still handle the same or do you got to slkow down around corners?

  • @ff271emt it handles great just like a normal tire.... i wouldnt do any road racing with it though.

  • The only thing I hate about the vlx is that its a 4 speed. Why honda made it a 4 speed is beyond me. I mean even the itty bitty rebel has a 5 speed i mean come on honda wtf?

  • Only one modification missed...GAR removal!!!

  • the black and gold looks killer . verry nice job .

  • looks damn good man! You did a fine job. Have a look at mine (suzuki not Honda). I did all the work myself also. Question does the black carrying thing on the front of your bike help deflect rain? Im thinking I may put the front fender back on because in the rain it sucks, but it looks so much better with it off.

  • @ElectricTN the fork bag does help some and its a great place to put your tool bag... which by the way I dont think Honda puts tool bags on there new bikes anymore. yea the front fender is the way to go for sure unless you care more about weight reduction or looks.

  • How much did it cost you start to finish ?

  • @slyzxx1 it was about 1500 from purchasing the bike to finish.

  • Great work! Very nice. Come check out the VLX forum at Delphi Forums.

  • nice bike dude! great job you did! I'm actually making some straight bars like yours as we speak, I'm spraying them and i will put it on tonight, So excited!!! come by check out my build!! again great job!

  • nice job brother clean like the dice key! and color of the tank! drive safe!

  • @stratosgreek thanks and i can make those keys for you if anyone is interested.

  • Nice bike! where d you relocate the rear ignition coil?

  • @patr3ck next to the rear exhaust pipe by the mono bolt

  • @patr3ck i relocated it under the seat.

  • Nice work!

  • great job, where did you gt that air filter assembly?

  • nice

  • Is that rear fender the West Eagle kit? Those look great but aern't cheep. If not, can you tell me how you made the mount to connect it to the swingarm? Thanks.

  • good looking Honda!

  • My goal here was to make a professional looking well built bike with a few tools and little money.

  • @randylucky well you can check that box. nice job.

  • cherry , i got mine all mocked up but the pipes i used are chopped up from the original and one is smaller diameter than the other ,, is yours that way too?

  • @AlienUFOEncounters yes they are

  • @randylucky ok , id like to fab the rear to match the front as the narrow pipe has more backpressure and is hotter with the cross over removed , i pulled the overfill bottle from the bottom to make room for the wires , how much did you pay for the original bike ? best bike for a bad ass cheap chop 4 sure

  • @AlienUFOEncounters 1000 for the bike with a carb rebuild and a rejet.... it had 8000 miles on it and wouldnt run for nothing.. All the jets were clogged from years of sitting around. About 9 out of 10 bikes i come across that need work its because the carbs are junked up.

  • ain't going to have no lady on the back even with the little ity bity cushion

  • @99697395 No fat women allowed!

  • Nice bike, I dig the front tire and the overall look of it.

  • looks good .the tanks is off another bike??? thanks jay

  • @jaywhoper no stock tank

  • @randylucky m8 the back fender is steel ?? did you make it ? beacuse i want to make my shadow bobber but i want a passanger seat at back

  • Its quite easy to do and depending if you want to run trailer fender on the back you have to cut the frame. I used a sawzaw and welded up the ends.

  • Sweet ride man, considering doing one of these myself.. How much did you take out of the frame? Is it necessary to chop the frame? Love what you have done with the rear fender so it can take two up - adds something different.

  • Nice work!!!

  • I used deer skin to cover it.

  • looks good you need to tell me what you used to cover the seat

  • Sexy bike I wanna be on the back of it! Your in Arkansas? Are you selling it?? My boyfriend likes these kind of bikes.

  • Thank you! I saw your bsa chopper very nice my friend. Love the sissy bar.

  • good looking bike
