  • It's a joke the way TNA are treating him at the moment.

  • WWE copies moves? Ye forget that AJ styles stole the Styles Clash from Crash Holly. Ken Shamrock used the Ankle lock before Kurt Angle. Bob Backlund used the Angle Slam before Kurt Angle.D'Lo Brown used the Angels Wings before Christopher Daniels.

In the wrestling industry, there is no such thing as originality. The Undertaker didn't create the Tombstone Piledriver. Hulk Hogan didn't create the Leg Drop...

  • @delacroixwalrus But they did make the moves popular.

  • aj the best

  • TNA FUCKING RUINED AJ STYLES!!!!

  • I love it how WWE completely ripped off the Styles Clash for Michelle McCool's Faithbreaker finisher

  • @TheWolfMCWA he didnt invent the move! there is nothing wrong with using a move that you didnt invent.

  • Plus u didnt even put pele kick in there

  • I hate when people put avalanche moves in of a move that was already in there bad video suicidal

  • Muta lock should not be in there

  • now he's a mid carder

  • The Brainbuster should have been on here. AJ has the best straight up Brainbuster of any non-Japanese wrestler. Suicidal makes the best videos though!

  • why the hell did TNA water him down???

  • Muta Lock on Kaval!

  • you dont put the fosbury flop in there?

  • Comment removed

  • @CRBPunk One of the best, not THE best.

  • Comment removed

  • what about the pumphandle gutbuster that AJ Styles does?

  • Just didn't make it.

  • poor kaval

  • What about the springboard 450? Didn't make it or no usable footage?

  • Unfortunately, no usable footage.

  • Damn, that Spiral Tap was breathtaking. That was just too..too perfect.

  • wheres the pele and starmaker?

  • Isnt the "Suplex Neckbreaker" also called the "Hangman's Noose"?

  • I swear the torture rack is the gayest move ever

  • Where's thee Fosbury Flop?

  • suicidaldragon can you in the future make a top ten of sean "x-pac" waltman. he has got some nasty ones

  • Brainbuster? He has one of the best out of all the Americans.

  • MAN THAT DEADLIFT GERMAN WAS SICK!!!!!

  • No fosbury flop??

  • lol the first one was melina's signature move. XD

  • spiral tap is very cool.

  • spiral tap is EPIC

  • 1:53 what a Styles Clash!!!

  • 1:00 was the best for me

  • No Pele?

  • Nope. Not a favorite move of mine.

  • Great job man, I love this top ten. His Armbar is pretty sick, too.

  • i don't find the kip up rana to be that believable, at least not the one showed in this video, in theory it would be a great move, but he never really got enough height to make it look good........

    maybe that's just me though.........

  • @liam6starr

    i totally agree with you

  • Love The Spiral Tap

  • Which then becomes a video that doesn't reflect my opinion, which is what these videos are designed for. If everyone made the same video with the same exact moves, it'd be pretty boring, don't you think?

  • @TheSuicidalDragon dude ppl gotta stop givin u a hard time for this video! 2 reasons! 1. its your opinion 2. AJ Styles has to many moves to claim just ten of em lol

  • When I made this, that wasn't the case, and even if I made it three weeks ago, the result would be the same.

  • 0:52 listen at the landing

  • I love the styllin DDT, especially the 1-2 times I've seen him go right into the DDT without first falling to his feet

  • it's a fuckin disgrace that tna took the phenomenal one aj styles waterd him down like they did.aj was tna's francise player that would put them over years ago,but thanks to midlife crisis money grubbers or mem sadly aj will never be a 7 time world champion.he's too good to be held back like he is now.aj can be legendary if jeff lets him.

  • he damn near pulled a Zangief with that Suplex Special!

  • Wow. Never did see AJ use the Styles Suplex Special before. Cool.

  • Styles pulled that move all the time back in 2003-2005. Don't see him pull it as much lately.

  • AJ Styles even performed in the First AZW show with James Gibson they had two matches the first and second show and they are tied 1-1

  • The Pele Kick on my page is pretty darn good, I think it should have made the top ten

  • I simply don't find the move to be that good.

  • No Fosbury flop? Insanity.

AND the pele is pretty impactful most of the time.

  • Not a whole lot. With all of the momentum being put into the backflip to ensure that AJ doesn't come down on his head, the kick isn't very strong.

  • BUt is fucking Phenomenal too watch. No pun intended.

  • That doesn't make it a good move. Much like the Canadian Destroyer, it's a needless flip that does nothing to increase the effectiveness of the move.

  • I want to see the spiral tap again..... oh and get rid of the legends title

  • Kinda miss the Pelé kick, but nonetheless, great vid, as always.

  • I highly dislike the Pele.

  • Why is that? I can agree that it gets botched sometimes, but I like the surprise factor.

  • Not a whole lot of impact to the kick itself.

  • lol

  • If AJ was in WWE,they would made water down all his moves to WWE standards. He wouldn't be able to do the Spiral Tap,Styles Suplex Special & the Styles Clash anymore.Michelle McCool(McTaker) claims she's been doing the Styles Clash long before AJ has.If I'm right, this move has been around before Styles even done it.Melina has a finisher similar to it called the Last Call but it is executed very sloppy.

  • AJ was using the move before McCool was even wrestling.

  • Thanks for clarifying that up for me.BTW I don't know if you do requests but could you repost the Top 10 users of the Tombstone again?

  • Yeah, it should be back up sometime in the near future.

  • sydal does the kip up rana way better

  • well... i am agree with taranaich.. one time my brother made me a styles clash on the concrete.. and i didnt get hurt... but his knees were destroyed

  • I love this top 10. This was the same top ten as before right? Three clips on there were from a match between Styles & Low Ki from Pro Wrestling ZERO-ONEMAX in 2003 am I right? And yes, the Styles Clash is the least credible to be a finisher but it's his signature.

  • Correct, yes.

  • Yeah...I actually downloaded that match...really fast-paced. Do you have a top 10 for Low Ki already?

  • It'll probably be revamped a bit, but yeah, it's almost ready to go.

  • That's great to hear. Still love the top tens, keep it up dude.

  • To be honest, I'm not a big fan of the Styles Clash as a finisher. It looks devastating on the knees and alright on the waist, but I don't think it hurts the head as much, since the momentum is swinging the head slightly back as opposed to being driven down.

I can see it as a good finisher if it segues into a leg submission, or there'd been tons of knee damage before, or if he does the Kazarian-style botch instead.

Still, AJ's a brilliant wrestler, tons of innovative moves & great work ethic.

  • Agreed. Any other move shown here looks much more devastating than Clash and would be more credible finisher (the avalanche version is a different story, though). It is just too obvious most of the impact goes to the opponent`s legs and lower torso.

  • I think the point of the Styles Clash is to be a Pancake variation where the wind gets knocked out of the opponent. If you watch, it's a front bump, meaning the receiver has to make it look like they're landing on their chest and stomach as opposed to their face. And since AJ usually transitions it over into a pin, it makes sense for it to be his finish: knock the wind out of them with this move where I hold back the only means they'd have of breaking their fall, and pin 1-2-3.

  • I still throw up in my mouth when McCool does it

  • AJ was always one of my favs.

  • Man AJ is great, but he'll never reach the great amount of success he's capable of if he never goes to WWE. TNA dosent have a big enough stage to showcase his great talents. He could be HUGE! But with that being said, even if he did go to WWE I'd be willing to bet that they would drop the ball with him and mishandle him horribly until they just finally released him like they've done other great superstars in the recent past.

  • Shut Up fanboy, Aj is a wrestler, not a clown, wwe circus is just a show for kids.

  • I'm not a fanboy you douche, I'm just stating that AJ deserves to be on a grander stage to become the type of great superstar that he deserves to be and TNA dosent have nearly the same amount of exposure as WWE. Nobody outside of wrestling even knows about TNA and thats not fair to the great wrestlers over there (especially to the up and comers). If you dont realize that not only are you a douche..........you're a retard

  • It's not every wrestlers' dream to be popular outside of wrestling...

  • Mr. Grand Slam Champion himself. And I watch that match he had with Joe. Styles was strong as hell. Awesome top ten.

  • great aj vid

  • I'm a huge Styles mark and I have no shame in admitting that, hehe.

  • Did he innovate a new Neckbreaker with his botched Styles Clash?

  • Another athletic competitor and performer who isn't receiving his due from his respected company. Even if AJ has slightly toned down his repertoire, I still enjoy watching his matches from 2002-2006. One of these days, he could possibly be the ace of TNA. It's not a matter of "if"; it's a matter of "when".

By the way, I've mentioned this before, but the Styles Clash may not look as credible of a finisher than the Spiral Tap or Cliffhanger, but there's no denying that it gets the job done.

  • ETWxSTAR, SD has already done evan bourne's top ten. search for top ten moves of matt sydal. matt sydal is evan bourne. other people have done a top ten for sydal as well.

  • I watched him in many different indy promotions for years , but i did not become a fan of his until his heel turn in TNA. I thought he did great as a heel and teaming him with angle.....Great.

  • That's when he actually started showing some charisma as that cocky heel. He needs to go back to it, the guy is a natural heel.

  • love this guy! thanks for doing this can you do an evan bourne top 10 ?

  • Matt Sydal has a top ten already.

  • I love the torture rack bomb! AJ s the best

  • Styles Clash doesn't look as credible with McTool using it now. :(

  • Yeah, there is like an unspoken rule in wrestling not to use someone else'd fiisher if its inique to them. If Undertaker, MVP and Goldust all started using the Pedigree it would make it look like a regular move. I mean thats what destroyed the DDT's credibility

  • not necessarily...good example, cm punks go to sleep...kenta used it first, and its still credible both ways

  • sorry kentas go to sleep

  • AJ Styles didn't exactly invent the Styles Clash. Crash Holly and Vic Grimes had a lot of sucess with it before AJ was famous. Even as far back as Corporal Kirchner in AWA was using a version of it minus the hooking of the arms. I'm sure McCool used it after seeing AJ do it, but I find it stupid when people say the move belongs to him.

  • Well I agree about some things like people griping about RKO's or Superkick but the Clah is unique to AJ, Holly used a different variation of it I remember. Its like AJs trademark and I'm not one to gripe about alot of things but McCool as I remember used different 'insider' finishers for about a 3 week span before turning heel because she was having abit of a blog war with smarks. I just dont like that she does it more as a jab to 'insiders'

  • I like the way you said the move isn't as credible when Michelle uses it as oppose to either AJ or Jimmy Rave. I was close to raging the first time she used that. Of all the maneuvers to use as her finisher, McCool had to choose the Styles Clash. Talk about criminal.

  • And it wouldn't be so bad if she could actually do the move. The few times I've seen her do it either she fails to properly hook the victim's arms, or she tries to put so much force into the move, and ends up dropping the victim legs first, completely killing the purpose of the move.

  • The one she did to Gail Kim is a good example. She didnt even wait to hook the other arm like you mention. To me that could of mess up Kim's arm.

  • That's exactly the instance I was thinking of as well, along with the one she did to Victoria. Yeah, that wouldn't have been good for WWE if Kim had gotten injured, even if I'm not a big fan of her's.

  • styles clash here it comes styles clash by aj styles what a comeback by styles

  • good vid, but you missed out a few moves

    .fosbury flop

    .tope con hilo

    .flying forearm

    .springboard 4450

    .shooting styles press

  • I'm sure SD would have added a couple of those if he could find a usable clip of it.

  • and maybe the pele flipkick

but thats just a testament to how good aj is because 10 moves isn't enough for him

  • I dislike the Pele.

  • why?

  • It lacks impact, and is rather inconsistent. If AJ simply drops to his back(similar to that of Prince Devitt or Meiko Satomura), the move would be fine.

  • AJ! AJ! XD

  • the Spiral Tap is one of the sickest moves in wrestling!
