  • WELL i looks great but i was reading a book about tools of stadistisics for improving the quality from hitoshi kume and in pareto's chapter he build a chart similiar to u but in excel he used chart line- column not what u used and the line acumulated starts from 100 hundred not since 20 (the blue line)

  • Great job, this helped me finally complete a research project.

  • This is a great demo. I found it very easy to follow your logic, and I thank you for taking the time to do this. Tony in San Francisco.

  • Thanks so much. This really helped. I'm doing an assignment for a course in NUIG. Thanks a lot.

  • Although in 36+ years I was never asked to prepare such a chart, I recently was taking a class and they mentioned Pareto Chart. EOLOUGHLIN did a fine job.

Not sure what it means to me but at least I know HOW TO

  • Thanks, very helpful.

  • Very clear, very useful.... thanks a lot! ;-)

  • Thanks a lot! It clarified a bunch compared to other posts online. I did have trouble sorting my percent column since they had formulas such as (in your example) =B3/B14 = 1% or so, and so forth for B4, 5, 6, etc. When sorting I got a bunch of errors and large percentages that were obviously wrong. So I sorted the frequency first, then calculated the percentages.

  • You forgot one step in your chart. A Pareto chart's first data plot along the second axis must coincide with the data height of the first axis. You need to set the first axis maximum to the total of your data to see this. So right mouse click on the Y-axis on the left and set the maximum to (TOTAL) and the minimum to 0. Now your line and bar chart for the first point should touch each other on one single point.

  • fuckin stat class making me do this shit, but prof never thought how to
