  • Who's playing the piano at the end if that one guys dead

  • my god! what a beautiful film! I played the bruch concerto a few years ago,... i'll never listen to it again in the same way without thinking of Julie <3

  • at the end you hear a beatiful song

    what's the name of it?

  • what a beatiful film

but sometime's i dont understand it because my english is not so good

is she dead on the end?

julie is the best actres ever

    she really touched me inside

  • Thank you for posting this movie. Julie Andrews is amazing in this,

  • It's funny that the film director Konchalovskiy made it look like SHE had helped the doctor not he did.

Sometimes the characters are very loud and chaotic and shout a lot in this movie which I actually do not like in Russians (myself included :).

The movie is so sad. It dosn't leave hope for life. But the most Russian movies are like that.

Russians do not believe in psychotherapy :)))

  • Julie was amazing in this movie. There were times in this movie that I actually got scared for her she was acting so well. She is truly amazing!!!

  • The director has no idea what Woman is about; he is fantasizing lamely....

    Julie Andrews was great.

  • I didnt get the end. Someone would tell me if she died in the end, leaving behind the doctor-companion?

You can see how the husband needed a young woman with dull personality to feel good that stage of his life, while she needed a stallion and then a soul-connection with a mature man. Different life path way.... Hope it doesnt happen to me, but be able to keep up with my charming partner

  • Beautiful movie ! Julie's performance is extroardinary and the music is so beautiful ( specially the end credits ). I love the scene when she watch her video... It's terrible !

Thank you so much for posted this movie !

  • This is one of the most touching movies I have seen in a long time. Julie Andrews is great:-)

  • What a stunning film. Julie Andrews is magnificent.

  • Amazing movie. There were times where I doubted Julie's dramatic acting, but in this movie she is flawless and moving. She should have received an Oscar, there's no doubt about that!

  • what an amazing film... i really don't have anything more eloquent to say, julie's just blown me away. i had no idea she was such a fantastic actress. and violinist, MAN!!!!

  • I absolutely agree about her acting but I'm pretty sure the violin playing was dubbed. Julie Andrews never learned to play the violin (as far as I know from reading her bio) and what we're hearing in this movie is a professional. But she mimes it believeably.

  • well, she seems to hit every single note with her fingers and glides the bow across every single string accordingly, so...

  • I just watched the credits again and it says that the violin solos were played by a member of the orchestra that supplied the soundtrack music. I supposed that she practiced to play the instrument and that they dubbed the actual music in post-production. It's what's usually done in movies about musicians.

  • alright cool! i was certainly convinced!!

  • Julie took several months of intensive lessons to actually learn to play the violin for the film; however, the skill wasn't meant to be retained. She just needed to learn how a violinist actually works the instrument... clearly she nailed the movements.

  • all i know is that my jaw dropped two floors from the half horror of seeing her playing like or as a pro XD

i can't thank you enough for posting this!! can't get it on dvd or on video!!

  • This is such an amazing film!!! it is so different from any of her other parts and shows a whole new dimension to her talents. I swear there is no limit to them! The most amazing woman alive! Thanks for posting! .x.x.

  • Thanks for posting this movie. It's the best movie with Julie. She's a great actress. At the end i have tears in my eyes. I must think of her real life. She lost her great singing voice. It makes me very sad. I'm a german fan and my english is not good.

  • Thank you very much for posting! I would say few words about the film, but I am wordless right know. All those superlatives seems inadequate right now...

  • I love this movie. It gets me every time. My absolute fav Julie movie.

  • thanks for the film. she gave a fine performance. wow. her acting is breathtaking

  • Thank You!!!!!The film was just great and I loved the end...it couldn't have been better...she simply accepted what was to come and knew that the others would also move on without her...sad but beautiful...Julie is simply the best actress ever!

  • thank you so, so much for posting this! Julie's performance what amazing!

  • Julie Andrews does not strike one false note in this performance. She achieves a cracked greatness that transforms dross into gold.

  • She saw her "piano man" and knew she would die soon. I often wonder if people after beeing ill such a long time know when death is coming. As a nurse I´ve seen people acting "relaxed" and ready before lifes end. (english is bad)

  • Oh my God! This film is wonderful!!

So sad and passionate...I wasnt expecting it to be like this at all, this film defanitly proves that Julies acting isnt limited! She can do anything!! I dont understand the title though?? Anyway..I loved it..It was amazing!

Thanks for posting it so much, it cheered up a boring friday afternoon!! :)

  • I have no words. All i can say is that im in tears and its now my favourite Julie Andrews Movie.

  • This was such a heartbreaking film, but I have to agree that Julie gave quite a strong performance in it- the fight with her husband and when she shouts at the therapist gave me chills.

Maybe with the ending, she accepted what was going to happen, and that they were going to be fine without her (but never forget her)

  • What a sad ending ;; I cried for such a long time.. Everyone..everyone just USED her!

  • I don't understand why it was sad. It made me rather angry coz I don't feel as if it's finished that's why I can't determine if it was sad or not. She didn't die I expected her to. And the part when it just all of a sudden a year passed confused me. You might think I'm stupid but can you please explain? btw Julie was as wonderful as ever.

  • Hmm. Well, for one thing that was suspicious..when she married, she never had any kids :O and the guy got that lady pregnant, so basicly he used her or somethnig like that. And then when they were having such a good time inside celebrating she just looked at them and turned away :O that part confused me. But what I think was, since she got multiple sclerosis no one really couls "use" her anymore. Then her "husband" had an affair and she had a lot of problems I guess =/

  • I agree with you 100% especially the part about her husband getting Penny pregnant. I wonder how she's going to live with that.

  • Thanks for putting this video at YouTube. I really wanna to see it, but I can't get it anywhere. Thanks;)

  • thanks a lot! what's with the ending, though?!..haha..i dind't see that coming!

    cheers!

  • so sad :(
