Just to clear things up : It was indeed Dragonfly that was used in Skins for the original broadcast. It's not Dragonfly on the DVD thought (Or on some of the syndicated broadcasts I think) due to clearance rights.

If you're referring to the scene in S1E08 of Skins, where Tony is in the back of Sid's car holding an unconscious Effy, then the song is in fact Dragonfly, because I heard it, googled the lyrics and found the song. Others have performed similar searches to the same result, so the song is definitely Dragonfly.

It is not the same song. It's similar, yes, but not exactly the same. The lyrics are even different.

The one in skins goes;

Those lyrics dont turn up anywhere. The instrumental part of this song is identical to it though and it sounds like the same voice too. My guess (and its a long shot I know) is that he was inspired by the episode to write a new set of lyrics especially.

It is, the song is from episode 8 of Skins, where Tony and Sid are in the mini, taking Effy to the hospital, it's also in the hospital scene.
