You have a great voice, the lyrics are very good. I was trying to imagine what it would sound like if you had someone singing the chorus along with you in harmony, it sounds like you're trying to sing in two-part harmony by yourself which is a little distracting to the listener. It's a very good song. I understand it's new and rough, but with a bit of orchestration and refinement, it would work. You are very talented. I'll check out more of your work. Always, Bill

I agree with Scarecrow686....you need to feel what you are singing a lot more....believe in what you are singing...show a bit more emotion and make sure you make more eye contact with the camera as you need to get used to that if you are gonna make it in Idol...which I am confident you will!!! I also had some vocal lessons (not that they did me much good) but my teacher emphasised the need to act the lyric through your voice (really feel the pain) your singing about.

If you were able to do that a bit more the song would sound more the way I'm sure you intend it to sound:)

i love this accompaniment Jarrod and the voice and tune are great. I can't identify with the message because I was always heart-broken when I got dumped - often and bigtime! I'm still nervous that my present girlfriend will get fed up of me and we've been married 37 years! I have a youtube friend in in Germany with a similar voice to yours,(onkelbuke).
