alzheimers is supposedly due to a decrease in brain cholinergic function. smoking cigarettes increases brain cholinergic function. may as well enjoy...
I'm actually about done making an Alzheimer's commercial spoof that this commercial inspired. I made it for I can't wait to post it up! I made it for the University of Miami's sketch comedy show.
Sorry but I love this commercial. "Mother?! We come here every G-D Sunday for Lasagna!" The world's most Italian family except for the daughter's husband who sits forlornly at the head of the table wondering how the hell he got mixed up with that clan in the first place. It reminds me of my family (lol.)
wow they couldnt have made this comercial more stupid huh? just becuase she forgot what day it is doesnt mean alzeimers and the acting is friggen terrible
I'm sorry, but this commercial is terrible. I'm young and even I can forget the day of the week sometimes, and especially if I'm sitting around alone doing nothing for several days in a row. The fact that she forgot the day of the week doesn't mean she has Alzheimer's. Unlike the Aricept commercial with the woman getting lost in the bowling alley, this commercial doesn't really show the dramatic effects of Alzheimer's and is rather poorly made.

She's a retired old woman who knits and feeds her cat.
When her life is that frigging repetitive, it isn't Alzheimer's. It's monotony.
