I moved to California two years ago. I was scared out of my mind to see that every building and every restaurant included warning signs that I could develop cancer by eating, living, or walking into these facilities. After a month, I didn't even see them anymore. Warning signs everywhere are pointless because people numb themselves to them. Plus if you talk to people who eat at fast food too much, they all know it and they don't care. This has nothing to do with getting info out.

second, you have guys like this that areactually on the payroll. what they do is settle a insignificant lawsuit that Mcdonalds deliberately looses. Remember, Mcdonalds, for example, is a franchise...the corporation can then hike up the price of the goods theys sell to the individual franchise owner for the expense of putting on a stupid "caution:hot coffee' label. Lastly, all this added and uneccessary legislation makes it impossible for a small shop to stay in business
the only companies/businesses that can afford to put all these warning labels and follow the zillion other rules and regulations we are supposed to follow are the big corporations. A little business, small carpenter making a step ladder for example cannot afford to put all these warning labels and hire all the atorneys needed to keep up with all the other legislation.
