These guys do at will. Rush needs nothing except to be listened to. Only artist or artists I would compare them to would be Queen, maybe Led Zep. Jury is still out.

I remember that one too, figuring out songs from the first two Rush records that I had taped off my older sister's boyfriend. @BluesDaddy411 Rush are goofy guys and they take pride in being goofy so the dryers (not washing machines) are some kind of inside joke between the band members and brought on stage to entertain the band while they entertain us.  Also they have t-shirts in the dryers and at the end of the show they throw them out to the audiance. - also last time I saw them they had rotisserie ovens on stage with, what appeared to be, chicken inside, they didn't share them with the crowd though. great band

Geddy runs all his sound through the venue sound system, this left a big gapping hole behind him where amp stacks used to be. He wanted to fill the space with something, he picked household appliances. He's had fully stocked fridges up there, rotisserie with chef standing there, ovens, vending machines, etc., all working mind you.
