I absolutely love this sound. This song came out when I was a teenager and strengthened my love and appreciation for country music. I love George Jones, and I love Baillie and The Boys too!

They cut off the end of the song. The vocal arrangement they used live was even better than on the record and I had hoped to get to hear it again. Alas.

Thanks for posting! Back in high school, bored and scrolling the radio dial one night, this song got me into country--didn't sound twangy, and I loved her voice. I grew to love country, most of all the 50s and 60s era, but it started with this.
