Ghost is alive. Let me clear this up. In one mission he says "why do i have to wear this fireproof vest?" Shepherd shot him in the shoulder and they poured gas only on roach. Then in mw3 they show a trailer about the next global crisis can be caused by only the will of one man, then it shows a guys in the shadows(cleverly guarding his face from being seen) and it looks like ghost. Also Robert Bowling from IGN said Ghost...isnt exactly dead... but you'll see what i mean soon. THUMBS UP!!

He was invovled with the start of the war with russia. He knew that allen would die and america would be thought of as an invader. The dsm thing that ghost and roach downloaded had proof of shepard's involvement in the war. Notice he said one less loose end? He killed them so he wouldnt have any witnesses to what he had did. WHy he wanted price dead too. He wanted to be known as a hero. so he started the war.
